March Account Hive/LEO/CINE/CUB Goals - Progress and Strategy to Surpass Them

Putting my goals out there.

I wanted to publish my goals and progress towards them. Makes me feel more accountable for putting my money where my mouth is. Easy to make claims and never follow through. Here are my March 2021 Goals

  1. 5000 HP

  2. 1000 LP

  3. 2000 CINE

  4. 250 CUB Earning 1 CUB / Day in the DEN

  5. Develop strategy for curation with new tokens

Progress

<Goal 1> 5000 HP

  • Complete - the 4500 HP powerup the other day did it for me. I am not sitting at 5000 HP again. I am feeling pretty good but would feel better if I had diamond hands and never sold. I would be at 10k plus

<Goal 2> 1000 LEO Power

  • I am currently sitting at 811 LEO POWER
  • Plan to get to 1000.
    • As my remaining Splinterlands card sell I am converting to LEO using HIVE engine. I am going DEC > SWAP.HIVE > LEO and then staking. Peakmonsters.com/@senstless/collection says I have just over $1100 USD left in cards. Even if I can convert at a 75% efficiency to LEO I will have plenty of card sales to drive me to my goal.

<Goal 3> - 2000 CINE

  • I have 2031 CINE tokens staked on my curation account @initech. That is about .5% (half a percent) of the circulating supply right now. My max upvote is somewhere around 7-8 CINE. I am hoping to stay in the top 10-20 curating accounts for a while. This might be difficult as there some some accounts earning crazy rewards right now and they could catch up pretty quick from producing content vs buying CINE and staking. Either way I wanted to give it a shot to get in early and HODL for a long time.

<Goal 4> 250 CUB in the DEN earning ~1 CUB a day.

  • This is by far my biggest stretch goal. I currently have 120 CUB, so I am 130 short. The current price is $2.10. It will require an investment of $275. At todays rate this will cost ~550 HIVE before factoring in costs swapping to HIVE > SWAP.HIVE > LEO > bLEO to CUB.

Short Cut Options

  • I currently have 1730 HIVE I have for investment options. I used some of this to jump on CINE, and could use the rest to buy my LEO and CUB goals today. While this would drain my liquid reserves it would get me to my goals for the month and I could use the rest of my card sales to convert to hive and replenish my liquid reserves while I plan my 6 and 9 month goals.

<Goal 5> - Curation Efforts

  • I can't hold all these tokens on one account. If I am going to invest $1000 USD in LEO - I better use those tokens to support and reward the community.

LEO

  • I decided to delegate all my LEO POWER to my alt @senstlessmonster. While I would love to search out the best content on LEO Finance - I am already running short on time. I set my account to follow and vote the same as @onealfa.leo. I know they are already one of the biggest stake holders and from their reputation and what I have seen do a great job of spreading out the votes and supporting good content.

CINE

  • Tokens staked on @initech -and I am manually voting for the time being. I will reassess how I am progressing as the payouts start to happen and I watch my voting VP.

HIVE

  • I decided I wanted a mix here - 5000 HP is a lot and I don't want to have it sitting at 100%. I wanted to show some love to the SilverGoldStackers group and gave @myprecious a follow at 50% weight. I will keep on eye on my voting VP as I manually vote and adjust as needed.

New Goals.

I am starting to think about what my 3, 6 and 9 month goals should be. Eventually I want to stop thinking about a side gig to earn money for crypto and tell people my side gig IS crypto.
