What is HIVE Power Up Day (HIVEPUD)?
To quote @traciyork, the current administrator of HIVEPUD:
Hive Power Up Day has been taking place on the first day of every month since it's creation by @streetstyle on that other blockchain back on April 13th 2019. Essentially, we ask that... On the first day of the month...
... anyone who is able to, powers up some Hive on the first of the month.
... accounts that are powering down, pause during the 24 hour span of the first of the month.
... anyone who is trading/selling Hive, pause those transactions during the 24 hour span of the first of the month (and possibly even cancel any type of sell order on any exchanges during that time as well).

There are a number of folks that are providing rewards for those powering up.
As far as the rewards I will be providing, the breakdown is like this:
π 1st Place 500.000 $LEO Power Delegation (LP)
π 2nd Place 250.000 LP
π 3rd Place 125.000 LP
π 4th Place 50.000 LP
π 5th Place 25.000 LP

π Minimum reputation of 40.
π Maximum reputation of 69.
π Minimum HIVE Power balance of 100.
π¬ Maximum HIVE Power balance of 8000.
β‘ Power up at least 10 (ten) Hive on March 1st (UTC time).
π Write a post about your power up on March 1st (UTC Time) with one of the two tags: #hivepud (International) or #hpud (Spanish).
Why LP Delegation Instead of HIVE Delegation?
There are a number of reasons which I will list here:
π Introduce people to the Leo Finance Community of curators and content creators. A bunch of great folks and very benevolent.
π Earn great rewards through uncomplicated curating (voting on posts). One second or seven days, does not matter. You will still earn LEO Tokens regardless of when you vote!
