but you had more than 288 characters to say...

You had some really interesting points you wanted to make

but you didn't want to come to Hive and write a post because your audience is one Twitter

So, you write the first really important point in a tweet

then you reply to that tweet and put your next really important point

then reply to that one with your next one

you keep on writing replies until all those important points have been shared.

When your audience comes along and sees your first tweet and loves it

they will start following the replies to read the whole... thread.
