LOVE ON THE STREET

Hello guys,been a while on hive. i apologise for that guys sincerely. Am just happy because i feel blessed to have a pleasant experience at an outreach few day to Christmas i.e 23rd Dec, 2021.

The tagged of the village outreach was #love on the street organized by the previous student Union government president known as comrade oloyede michael (proverbial), a very easy-going, compassionate, elegant, caring, self-less, fair, competent, visionary, reasonable leader whose goals and objectives were completely during his tenure as the president in the federal university of agriculture abeokuta.

The other organizer named leadheart initiative is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization whose aim is to build an effective and quality service delivery leader in the society. leadheart initiative is an army of young, vibrant and intellectual youths embarked on its first villiage outreach project tagged love on the street and has an organization who is an SDGs advocate decided to contribute our quots in achieving SDG2. REASON FOR THE OUTREACH

This village outreach tagged love on the street is to spead love,joy and celebrate happiness during this festive season because its not every home that gets to enjoy the sight of living well,the joy and excitement of to attend a fancy parties, eating healthy and nourished food let alone enjoying a comfortable life. The sole aim is to explore new area and assist them rekindle their hopes in life.

We visited two villages ( soremekun and ayetoro-budo) in alabata area of ogun state, Nigeria. I was very observant because we visited a new environment which one needs to be careful but after arriving,we were warmly received by the village rulers and chiefs (baales, elders) and few members of the villages.

Just within a short while after we arrived at the village,the whole atmosphere had already been filled with love and adoration. some villagers both young and old were either surprised or rejoicing. Most activities went smoothly and we enjoyed our stay there. we were able to connect with all age groups in the village ranging from the elders, adults and even the children.

This gesture made the villagers express their valid concerns to us, their challenges and issues were brought to the table raw and they all had a sense of fulfilment after this exercise. it was of course,a moment they have been longing to behold.

We spread out and distributed the outreach materials (bags, clothes, shoes, food items, beverages, toiletries and a host of other essential items). we were more happy when they all accepted the items with gratitude and love. Their expression brought joy to us. it is said that responsibility breed liability and its extremely fitting that society, association and local area track each action for important assessment.

We observed that the villagers practice burning of household waste, and other item which causes harm to one's health and also contributes to global warming in the society. Although they weren't aware of disadvantage of such practice. Sessions were carried to enlightening the youths and children in different areas as it concerns our society cleanliness , morals, ethics, sexual harassment and molestation, education amongst others.

it was indeed a nice time with the villagers as our presence rekindled their hopes and breathe a fresh moment of living into the minds, souls and spirits.

They members of the organization did have a light-bull moment as it is always amazing to reach out to fellow humans who are underprivileged. it was indeed a worthwhile and wonderful experience. special thanks to God, members of the organization, volunteers, villagers and all our donors who supported in cash or in kind. i pray that humanity continue to thrive because it comes comes first always in all aspects of our life.

To show humanity in life,one needs to understand that having such trait,is a blessing because it's an important aspect in one's life. To show humanity to another,one doesn't have to be poor or rich but you feel happy and excited trying to solve their problem just like the volunteers.

I mostly appreciate the volunteer who came in and brought warm heart to work and also impact and to mostly celebrate love as Christmas was first approaching.

I literally felt the importance of love and amazing people in one's circle,the kinds that covers and assist you willingly,those that can stand by you when no one else can.

This was the little effort we all made to save, improve lives, show love and support in kind gesture to m better the lives of these rural dwellers.
