Are you short or long on your social media impact plan?
As technology carries us exponentially faster down the rabbit hole, so changes the landscape of social media.
Twitter announced an NFT authentication interface they recently showcased.
All the big socials are getting in on the action now. Even Tik-Tok is partnering with blockchain-based music streaming service Audius!
As crypto-centric platform updates get baked into the big platforms, the digital economy will become second nature to the majority of internet users.
However, the OG platforms run counter to the true culture of blockchain-based, crypto-driven, platforms and media.
Decentralization.
The current platform rulers of social and their existence within the crypto-social ecosystem will run counter to the first-to-use, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO), that fostered the earliest growth in the space.
No doubt that mass adoption will be bolstered by big social adoption, however, I think the communities built up around the grassroots growth of the original blockchain communities will make the difference.
Those communities are waiting the be seen by the average user, and as soon as their friends and family start using Facebook to earn crypto - SWOOP.
We whisper in their ear, reminding them they're STILL the product and they still don't own any content they put there.
We then show them the better way, something like #hive blockchain.
Big social's adoption of crypto raises ALL ships, defacto sinking its own.
HIVE and select others will emerge from this attempted big social adoption phase as the true leaders in decentralized social and beyond.
Do your own research, find a community that works for you and get in early.

So, what do you all think? I'm wondering why we don't have a Hive page over there. I think it's worth it just to be able to tag it when talking about our community over there. Even if I am the only one FOR NOW!
