Hmmmm This is a tough subject, that so far I have avoided. I really didn’t think much about governance on Steem because I was new, and it appeared that in DPOS stake was the form of governance, and I didn’t have enough to participate.

I thought about it again with the Steem-Engine token Hobo, which focused on governance. I studied it and even bought nearly a million tokens, as I wanted to participate in the project and the DAO. After the move to Hive the project seems to have died. My tokens moved over to Hive-Engine, but have since disappeared from my wallet with no explanation.

I thought about it again, during the March? 2021 Bitcoin 50% one day crash, when ETH crashed further and then all those investors got screwed in the MakerDao. I watched the MakerDao DAO in action, and it took months for that Dao to settle with the investors. Fortunately the investors got some compensation, although the details are lost to me.

Did you invest in Hobo? A journalism integrity project? Do you know what happened to it? I thought I ‘d ask just in case...no harm. No foul hopefully.
