The Wealthy seem to spend a lot of time learning

I often read those sort articles like The Secrets of the Wealthy, Nine Habits to be Successful, or something catchy like The Millionaire Mind. And one thing that initially didn't stand out in my mind, but popped into my brain after reading todays article by @tarazkp is that successful people tend to spend a lot of time learning and improving their knowledge base. In a word it seems like they are always in school, and always changing the way they think, act or perceive things.

Yes always in school.

It seems the successful are always reading stuff about making money or being a more decisive and rational decision maker.
Now who could have imagined that lack of education, a deficit of rational thinking and indecisiveness could lead to failure. LOL

Yes always changing their thinking about things.

What?

  • You mean they don't hold onto the same perceptions they had about the world and how it works that they had when they were 18?
  • They are evolving in how they view the world in and it's financial system?
  • They change their spending and savings habits as they age?
  • They might even leave the stock market to invest in cryptocurrency or heaven forbid decentralized finance?

They are focused on rational decisions?

My banker tells me that otherwise rational people are irrational when it comes to money. I had to laugh when he said;

I don't know what it is about money that makes people either crazy, stupid or both.

Ouch!

How many times have you read the phrase ...if you continue to do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you always got...

...Then laughed and continued doing what you have always done?

Refusal to adapt to change and delay in learning how to survive and prosper in a changing environment...

...is like trying to ignore an advancing forest fire at you cabin in the woods. It's going to get hot and smokey, and be assured the fire will stay hot longer than your cabin can stay unburned.

It's much better to adapt, rethink your plans and evolve as a person to your changing surroundings.

Change is brought about by growth in your environment, your job, your finances and in you!

Problems created by change are an opportunity both for failure or success.

You get to decide which it will be by the decisions you make in response. Ignore it or embrace it, learn about it and prosper within it.

Remember Bitcoin was crazy, worthless internet money, until it wasn't. It changed...or people changed....

Blockchain, cryptocurrency, blockchain games and decentralized finance....

These are some of the biggest changes in 25 years. These things will make an impact on our world so big and so far reaching, that the internet will look like a warm-up band.

Buy and hold, moon bags, technical analysis, are important things, but earning income everyday by picking the right defi program is going to be a very valuable skill.

Learning how to execute the ten or eleven steps to get your money into defy projects and then execute them in reverse are the most valuable skills now.

But those problems are opportunities. When I look at Hive and Leofinance, Cubfinance and the future Polygon Cub I see these as changes, to make this new thing decentralized finance more accessible to more and more people.

The learning curve is steep, and the projects and developers who make it easier to the right people at the right time will prosper.

Last words...

I am not the same person who found Steemit years ago. I look at my old articles and I don't think like that anymore, and I don't write like that anymore.

I look at my old investments, and I don't invest like that anymore.

I look at my old challenges and those aren't challenges anymore. I have new ones! :)

Welcome to Leofinance and Hive, come in and stay a while, the water isn't always fine, some of us bite. But you will make friends, acquaintances, learn new things, and hopefully this change will help you grow into a better version of yourself. You Version 2.0 or V2...

The end for now...but really the beginning of ... change.
