Cryptocurrency is revolutionary

Introduction

I believe Thomas Jefferson, the second President of the United States, said that the government should change every generation, to prevent the young from being ruled by the cultural norms and ethics of their elders, because these things change every generation.

I believe he said we should respect our elders, and listen carefully to what they say, as much wisdom can be obtained from our older members of society.

But we also must be critical enough thinkers to discern the wisdom from the ignorance. He gave the example of Slavery. He said that although this Country is founded on the noble idea that all men are created equal, and given by their creator certain inalienable rights, including the right to freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

He cited that although the Founding Fathers of our Nation embraced these ideas, we deprived both African Slaves and woman, these rights. The cultural norms of slavery and depriving women of the right to vote and own property, were viewed even in his time as cultural norms which conflicted with the national principles. He said the next generation must be critical thinkers. They must discern both good principles and ignorance from the words, and more importantly the ways, which in his time meant deeds.

The next generation should not be ruled by the ignorant cultural norms of their parents, but should grasp firmly the wisdom of their parents, and build a better society. By any means necessary, including revolution.

Strong words Mr. Jefferson, which were meant to get your attention, and make you think. I think it was a challenge to the youth. Mission accomplished, and challenge accepted.

Banks and the Legacy economy and decentralized economy.

Thomas Jefferson, also said;

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered."

  • Thomas Jefferson

We are all at such a juncture, where it’s time to discern, the wisdom of the legacy economy,and banking rules from from the ignorance and bad cultural norms of the legacy economy. It’s time for all of us to be critical thinkers.

Specifically, It’s time to cast off the the cultural norm of allowing banks to control our currency. It’s time for people and governments to control their currency.

Mr. Jefferson called it, the Tyranny of the Elders. Strong words indeed, but meant not to insult or belittle, but to grab your attention, and make you think. Mr. Jefferson, mission accomplished.

Cryptocurrency, the blockchain, decentralization, tokenized social media on Hive and decentralized finance are all built on the good parts of the legacy economy, and the bad cultural norms are meant to be left behind. The challenge is to cast off those bad cultural norms, keep the good ones like loyalty, honesty and other good principles, and build a better society. It is not just for our betterment, but it is also part of our obligation to our children to continue the work of our elders, and build a better society.

Good work Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin represents strong words, which are meant to get our attention. Your mission was accomplished, and your challenge has been accepted.

The End.. for now.
