Pelacor Conjurer Makes a Decent Mini-Tank

(What I imagine a a Pelacor Spearmen would look like)

  • I had a different Life Splinter team than usual this time. Thanks to the help of the little old lady Divine Healer, Pelacor Conjurer ending up being a very decent mini-tank who took front-line hits while my three lower magic monsters kept up their barrage against the enemy Earth Splinter team. It's always interesting to see how different players react to the Little League battle rule set. High mana-caps let us use all sorts of really cool high-level monsters but Little League allows us to come up with new strategies with lower Mana cards.

  • Here are mine and my opponent's line ups.

  • The rule sets here guaranteed that melee and range attacks would hit so the best defense would be to add a healer to the squad so that the damage could be slightly undone. Thankfully, Water Splinter was not available because some well-placed low-mana magic monsters would've been highly effective when paired with Alric Stormbringer.

  • I used Life Splinter's Lorna Shine as my summoner because she gives all friendly monsters Divine Shield which ignores any first attack they receive from the enemy--be it melee, range, or magic.

  • Life Splinter's Pelacor Conjurer was a low-mana card who looked to be a good 1st position battle sponge.

  • Life Splinter's Light Elemental looked like a good 2nd position attack card due to its decent Speed of 3 and 2 Magic damage which is pretty potent.

  • Neutral Splinter's Enchanted Pixie looked like a good 3rd position card because she doesn't cost a lot of Mana, making her easier to slip into the team -- plus her magic damage, while not the highest, still goes past Armor straight for the enemy's Health.

  • Elven Mystic looked like a good 4th position for the same reasons as Enchanted Pixie, although they are a little bit more pricey mana-wise but have 3 Health instead of Enchanted Pixie's 1.

  • For 5th position, I used Divine Healer to undo any damage to my attack-sponge Pelacor Conjurer.

  • Creeping Ooze for my sixth/ last position increased the speed of all my friendly monsters.
