MYLOR vs EASTWOOD

While I half-expected a magic Water Splinter team, this battle also had the Super Sneak ruleset. That persuaded me to choose monsters with lots of Health, with the exception of Mushroom Seer who was there just in case the enemy did indeed go with a magic Water Splinter team -- so that his Silence ability could lower their magic attack and make the Void-equipped Unicorn Mustang an anti-magic horse god. But my opponent had a similar inkling, which I could tell by his choice of Failed Summoner, Unicorn Mustang, and their summoner -- Wizard of Eastwood. I bet he expected me to go with a magic Water Splinter team and had hoped to reflect some of that magic damage back at me, while his summoner removed any extra armor put up by what they probably expected to be the Protect ability from Venario Wavesmith. I was a little worried about their Stonesplitter Orc's Retaliate ability but I have never really seen that ability occur enough to matter in smaller battles like these. Thankfully I had also picked Stone Golem who has Shield, which reduces incoming melee and range damage, so I knew that I'd get quite a few Thorn counter-attacks from Mylor which really helps a lot in battles like this where this is an extra ability like Super Sneak.

In the end, it was horse against horse -- mustang against mustange, or unicorn vs unicorn. It would've been a draw but it was the choice of summoner that determined the victor of the battle. Mylor Crowley's Thorn ability punished the enemy Unicorn Mustang one last time and the poor little pony bit the dust.

I earned 20 Rating and almost 7 Dark Energy Crystals from this battle.
