Long-Haired Lords of the Sea

I had no idea what to expect from my opponent for this battle so for some reason I went for an all-out magic offensive team, composed of the pretty reliable Djinn Oshannus and the explosive deadly Ruler of the Seas which I've recently rented. Ruler of the Sea's Blast damage is pretty amazing and while his Speed of 3 isn't as high as Oshannus's Speed of 5 it's still pretty good. I feel like people usually go for Water Splinter when it's available but my opponent went for the complete opposite -- a melee fire team. They had the also pretty reliable Living Lava as their front line tank, Kobold Miner with their Sneak ability, Serpentine Spy with Opportunity ability, and Goblin Fireballer. While my summoner Arlic increased Oshannus and Ruler's magic attack, my opponent's Malric increased Lava's and Miner's and Spy's melee attack which had me a little worried. There was also the Knockout ability in the ruleset but neither my or their monsters had Stun so that didn't really affect the battle.

Djinn Oshannus took some damage but in the end Ruler of the Sea's explosive magic attacks just obliterated the enemy fire team. It's a shame that there aren't more guys on the Fire Splinter with Void or Void armor but my opponent wasn't using any of them. In the battle between fire and water, water emerged victorious.

I earned 20 Rating and almost 6 Dark Energy Crystals from this battle.
