Afternoon everyone…

Today is going to be a steamfest here in the northeast. They are calling for highs in the upper 90’s, which could touch 100 in some places. As if that’s not bad enough, the humidity is supposed to be in the 90% as well.

Can you say hot sticky mess…

Unfortunately I’m also at the point of spraying to complete a job. I have tricks that work in the heat, and also for humidity. But not the combination of both. Finish dries as the moisture evaporates from it. Which on days with this magnitude of humidity isn’t happening.

On extremely hot days I can add additional moisture to the finish so that it doesn’t set up to fast. On humidity days I can thin out the finish to make it dry faster. So what works for one makes the other much worse.

Uuuuuuggggghhhhhh….

My days gonna suck.
