Sublime Sunday….

Afternoon everyone…..

It was a good week weather wise and work wise. My install went perfect no hitches and no hold ups.

So it’s #sublimesunday a tag created by @c0ff33, to post about your random stuff.

I was invited to the annual air show yesterday by a friend. I had a appointment at 1pm, and wasn’t going to go. But my friend assured me that we’d be back by noon. So….

I went with them. I have never been to this style air show before. This was a hot air balloon show. The typical air shows that I’ve been to with my dad were of old fighter style planes and stunt planes.

We left for the show at 6am. The gates opened at 7am. It was really cool to watch all of the balloon get blown up prior to launch. Here is a picture of some.



Getting the balloons filled takes quite a while, but it was a very interesting process. This next picture is roughly 30 minutes later.



My friends have been going to this air show for several years now. It held at the state fair grounds which is a huge open space for them to launch.
Because of COVID there was no show last year. Also they were not allowed to do passenger rides either this year for COVID concerns. Normally there is an area of several balloons that do passenger rides for a set price.

Here is one that was flying directly above me. As you can see the weather was perfect for this show.
