Afternoon everyone…..

Wow, this week flew by extremely fast. Even busy as hell, it seemed like I was teleported to Friday. Two jobs completed, four estimates given. With any luck I’ll sign atleast two of them.

Last week my daughter had asked me to go to a concert with her on this Friday. I told her that I would even though I had never heard any songs from them. The headlining bad was “Theory of a Deadman”.

It was at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ. I’ve been there hundreds of times over the years. It’s a fantastic place to see shows. It holds roughly 600-800 people it’s all standing room only. But you are close to the band from just about anywhere.

There were two opening acts prior to them, which don’t get announced until the night of the concert. The first band was “Eva Under Fire”. They are a band from Detroit, with a female lead singer. She has a pretty good voice and they weren’t too bad.

The band that followed them, called “10 Years”, was horrible. Musically they were pretty good, but the singers voice does not in any way fit this style of music in any way. They have been together for over 16 years and I can’t understand how…..

Theory of a Deadman are a band from Canada. They’ve been together since 1999, and have six albums out. They are a very polished performance on stage. While there are only a couple songs that I actually liked. They put on a good show.

The two songs that I would recommend if you are interested in heavy rock and roll are Bad Girlfriend and Medicate.

During the performance the lead singer was throwing guitar picks out into the crowd after each song. One hit my daughter in the chest and I was able to grab it out the air before it hit the ground.

Here are some pictures from the show.
