Update on my shop addition, and fun in the sun with Peanut on #sublimesunday…

Afternoon everyone…

As most of you know, I’ve been battling with the town for months now on getting a detached garage approved on my property.

Roughly a month ago now, I contacted an architect in town and spoke with him. I told him all the stuff the town building code manager and town engineer were putting me through.

He showed me all the state FEMA regulations, which contradict some of the bullshit the town was telling me I had to do.

The architect flat out told me that what I want to get done can be done, without most of the bullshit they told you.

He said I’ll draw it up to code, and then go and submit it. If they turn you down, then I’ll get involved.

So Friday my drawings were complete. I picked them up and drove directly to the town building department to fill out my permits.



Guess I’m playing the waiting game now for approval.

Now for Peanut….

The happy little girl, is getting bigger. She loves the pool and swims like a champ. She is teething hard and going through toys quickly. But she’s growing nicely and the vet said she’s all good.
