Afternoon everyone….

So the FED decided to raise the interest rate by half a percent. This was kind of assumed by most analysts. But the big number will be released next week. The CPI (consumer price index).

That’s when things could potentially hit the fan. If you know what I mean….

Gold opened the week on a pretty big downtrend. Since the announcement it’s been kinda treading water. Gold is down just over $16 dollars for the week currently with only a few hours left in the trading day.

Silver started the week much like gold, having an immediate downtrend. What is a little strange is that silver nearly 100% recuperated late Wednesday only to fall back the following day. Silver is currently down $.50 for the week. See very high trade volumes in both metals this week.

But what will the closing bell bring?????
