2022 Australian Silver Swan

Swans are often a symbol of love and fidelity due to their long-lasting monogamous relationships. Swans are almost entirely herbivorous, though they will eat small amounts of aquatic animals. Swans are classified as a threatened species mostly due to hunting and habitat loss, and pollution.

The first Swan coin of the Perth Mint was launched in 2017. The Swan is an iconic in that is so analogous with the Perth Mint. It is the Perth Mint Logo.

The Perth Mint’s operations are situated in the heart of Perth, the capital and largest city of Western Australia. Founded in 1829 on the shores of the Swan River, the original colony in the territory was in fact called Swan River Colony, the location of which is now Perth.

I wonder what the plans do the Pert Mint have for the Swans. It appears that they will continue with the series the way they have the Kookaburra series and the Koala series. The Kookaburra, Koala, and Kangaroo come with much higher mintages, while the Wedge Tail Eagle, Emu, and Swan are all beautiful with the lower mintage maximums.

I do not intend to sell my Swan coins. These are part of my permanent stack.

Incidentally, I bought my second Swan coin when I joined ̶s̶t̶e̶e̶m̶i̶t̶ Hive. That is almost five years ago! How time flies!!!
