A great part of the goal-setting process is reflecting on what worked and what didn't the past year. There's a lot of obstacle to us succeeding. The whole premise of this blog is that no matter what happens out there, that we are going to be well together. Looking at my stack, I'm pretty proud of what I have accomplished.

The premise of this blog

The whole premise of this blog is to document the journey to a pretty large stack of silver and gold and building wealth on a middle income. All that negativity isn't going to slow me down, it's not gonna happen. All the negativity out there is nothing... because we are doing it together.

Having you support me is so much more motivating. I know that the result is much better because of my association with you. It's not just the shared knowledge. I know it is the group dynamics that bring out the best in me (and some of you as well). And I recognize it.

Financial flexibility

Maintaining financial flexibility will give you peace of mind. This is huge. Not walking yourself into high ticket purchase that's the higher limit of what you can spend. Staying out of debt. Have a reasonable house payment or a reasonable car payment or no car payment. How much more fiat you have for investment purposes. How living a frugal life is that much easier when you are not on the crunch of debt.

I can be better

So I look at the mirror and say: "I expect more from myself, I can do better than this. I demand more from myself." Despite the things we are seeing out there, I know I can be better.
