People don't merely feel grateful when something wonderful happens to them.

Although it's common to take for granted many of the things in our lives, it's important to remember to be grateful for everything.

We might be reminded of the many blessings in our lives by making lists of things for which we are grateful. During times when it seems like a lot is wrong, this is especially crucial.

A property or career can be included on your list of gratitude, as well as little things like a very quick commute to work. These things can be recorded in your existing diary of gratitude (do you have one?), on a standard notepad, or even on the daily coffee napkin that you use. How wonderful to have these reminders of your blessings should be present in your daily life.

There are countless things for which one can feel grateful. I compiled a list of my greatest blessings. The idea is to provide you with the motivation to discover them on your own.

I am thankful for...

• my family, although they are all in heaven
• my close friends, good neighbors, and my friends in the blockchain
• my health condition, despite it not being perfect
• my home
• my church and freedom of religion
• my job
• my academic training that landed me my forever job
• my Yorkies, and even when they have all gone they had kept me company for 15 years
• my financial savings
• my reliable vehicle that brings me to point A to point B
• technology
• the convenience of utilities
• clean water and air
• the chance to give back
• a restful night of sleep
• general peace in the country

During this season of the year when we give thanks and show gratitude, it's important to consider the things you would regularly take for granted.
