The Sun and Moon are two of the important factors in astrology. Astrologers believe we all have both a sun and a moon sign, which suggest our outer drive and inner needs.

This is a hand poured silver by Bunker Bullion. It is the Sun and Moon. I had a difficult time making the photos come out the way I see it in person because is was pretty shiny. Bunker Bullion is known for his super shiny creations.

It is uneven (and I will tell you why it is uneven later) so for the first time, Hiho Silver's stamping is not as straight. It is 2.65 troy ounces of .999 fine silver. I just love his maker's mark- a stallion within the letter "B" for Bunker and the word BULLION.

Why is it uneven, you ask?

The terminology “high relief” originated from the art of sculpture. A sculpture that rises outward three-dimensionally from a flat surface is called high relief.

When the lowest point of the coin face to the highest point of the coin face surpasses the edge of the coin itself, it is considered high relief.

“Ultra high relief” coins, rounds, and bars have a lot distance between these points, giving it more room for features and details.
