Hello, have you ever wondered the maximum size a post can be on HIVE? There is an answer to this, im not going to look it up because I know the answer is a guess but word on the street is a HIVE block that can hold a maximum of 10-11kish words. This might sound like a lot but when we consider this is letters, spaces, formatting and the URL's for any pictures, it... well, it still sounds like alot. In fact, it is alot because it would take you a long time to read through but it's not alot at the same time because 10k words in terms of memory is nothing. If you google search "10k words into memory", the result comes back with a solid 0.1 MB of memory space. When we think about it, 0.1 MB is smaller than the file size for a low-resolution small google imagine. I guess when they say 1 picture can describe 1000 words they were not lying, well in terms of data anyways.

What's brought me here?
I have a few days off work and I have been sleeping like a dog. For the past 4 days, my life has been being awake for 6-8 hours then sleeping 3-4 hours. It's leaving me feeling very fatigued all the time but im getting lots of stuff done. So anyway, this evening I put the kettle on to get the dog's dinner ready and went upstairs to talk with the misses for a minute who was watching a movie in our bedroom. Long story short, I lay down, fell asleep and woke up 4 hours later with the dog replacing the wife in the bed. That was 30 minutes ago, i've since fed the dog who was hungry, made myself a coffee and rolled a joint. It's 3.15 am and I have nothing to do. I mean I have the stuff to do but nothing I wanna do, I always have the stuff to do for SPinvest but right now im feeling like breaking HIVE and seeing how many words it takes to full a complete HIVE block. I have a tendency to enjoy writing much more when I've just woken up, no idea why but if i have been awake for 3-4 hours already, i dont enjoy writing as much. Could be the energy boost from just waking up plus caffeine, nicotine and THC from my coffee and spliff. That probally has something to do with it. Where im i? 420 words. What are the chances that "420" is the 420th word in this post. Im on a roll and almost 5% the way finished.

What bought me here this evening? Free time plus an old desire to upload a post big enough to full a complete HIVE block.

I challenge you to do the same and break the blockchain. All you gotta do I ramble for 11-12k words and then try to upload it. You aim to write too much and you want it to "fail upload" to confirm to have written a post too big to upload. After here, you cut 100 words and try to upload. If it fails, cut 100 words try again. Repeat this until it uploads and then you'll know you'll have got in the most you can. It's not an exact science but I'd guess your post will be 99& of the block. Anyways, that's what im going to be doing with this post. Im going to aim for 12k words and then start trying to upload. Of course, you might be smarter than me and can think of a much better way using some code are tracking dapp. Maybe there's a character countdown somewhere im not aware like, kinda like how we have on TXT messages. Maybe not but that would be handy right now.

I challenge you to break the blockchain!! and max out a HIVE block with your content just for bragging rights.

Let's get this shit show on the road, I've outlined briefly my idea and plan for this post above and now it's time to get the bulk of the work done by adding lots of words, lots and lots of words and characters to make this post big. I could cheat and do stupid shit like count to 10. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and that's 30 characters gone but that lame. Im guessing there will be tons of spelling mistakes and grammar errors in this post as there is no way on God green Earth that I will be going back through this post looking for them. I'll run Grammarly over it but that misses things sometimes. I use the free version so I dont get all the features but I ain't paying for it. To be honest I dont think that many people will actually read through the whole post. I'd take a guess and say that most will maybe read to about here in the post and then scan the rest of the post while scrolling to the comments at the bottom and hopefully leave a juicy upvote. I do the same, it's nice to see people write super long posts jammed full of fantastic information but to be honest, im scanning most posts and cherry-picking out the information I wanna see. If I check out a post, any post, im only taking in 10-20% of the content even if it's something im really interested in. I dont consume content the way I used to before when I used to read each word. I tend to read the key parts of a post now and then think for a few minutes. Maybe im getting older, maybe im just not into reading as much anymore, maybe im bored of reading the same crap over and over. Not just on HIVE, even with the crypto news apps I use and my news feed on my phone, everything kinda just repeats the same stories over and over and im not learning anything new.

So it's not very often I get this amount of time to just sit and do nothing so why not? Writing this many words sounds like a big challenge but im already almost 10% of the way in and from here on out, I dont even gotta make sense of what im writing because most people will not have made it to here. So right now, my coffee is long gone and I put out my spliff around 10 minutes ago. I have youtube loaded up on my other screen playing a randomly selected Joe Rogan podcast and im about good to go. All I gotta do is grab a bottle of water and roll another quick spliff and then I'll get knuckled down into this post.

Ok, now I have that sorted let's get this done. My water is super cold which I love. I like to drink a bottle of water after a coffee, the colder the better. I see people drinking coffee back to back and im blown away, If I drink 2 coffee's within a few hours, I get sweaty and my hands will start to shake a little so water for me. Spliff is nice as well, I love a fresh spliff. Looking at my weed jar, it's near empty and there are around 4-5 days worth in there at most so I need to get top-up delivered before the weekend. I get my weed from the dark web and the guy I use is on vacation until the 10th of Jan so I log in yesterday to get my top up to see that's changed it to the 17th. It's a kick in the balls because now im going to have to use a new guy which I dont like because there's a certain risk you'll get scammed and lose your BTC. To be really honest, I've never lost BTC buying weed but I'm very careful with who I pick to use. Think eBay with no rules and no Paypal money-back guarantee, it sounds like the wild west but there are alot of very professional people selling weed online. I've gone through maybe 6 suppliers in the past 2 years due to websites getting shut down and they've all delivered the next day and I've never had a package go missing either. One time, a package was late and the guy gave me a £20 off my next order voucher. YES, they have MONEY OFF WEED vouchers, mind blown. So there you have it, now you know im running out of weed and having to buy from a new person which is annoying me. I'll probably do that after I do this. It's 4.10am so 5-6 hours until sellers will be able to ship anything out at the earliest.

Right now, im starting to feel a little hungry. I wish I had some of those pancakes from work but I've been off 4 days already so I have not been at work to bring more home. I do like making the pancakes at work, I must have made 30 different types of pancakes just pissing about with different things. So the guys at work like to bring pancakes home to eat before they go to bed are for their kids to have before school so I always make up the extra batter. Every day, I make extra plain pancakes but with most of the extra batter I'll do something different that's not sent out to customers. Depending on how im feeling and how busy it is at work, this can lead to anything from banoffee swirl and white chocolate pancakes to fruit-filled (fresh fruit) rolled up crispy pancakes. Recently I did some gingerbread pancakes and topped them with some dark rum flavoured icing. Here's a picture of some of them, check out the wee gingerbread man I found in the decorating supply room.

I sure do making pancakes, I joke with the guys that when I retire I am going to write a book called "100 ways to make pancakes". Im encouraged at work to piss around and create new things and I like playing about so I've tried alot of whacky things, some were genius and others went into the bin before any of the other guys could try them. lol. In my work, we are a small team of 7-8 people with 5 of us being time served bakers. It's a small bakery so we have a lot of freedom and the boss buys the best ingredients so each baker has their own thing. Im the pancake guy, I make tons of different types of pancakes, it's my thing that I do for everyone else. The head baker is the pizza guy, every couple of weeks, we'll see that he's bought in some sliced meat are some polish sausage and we'll know it's pizza night. Every baker has something they make for everyone else every couple of weeks. It's a nice set-up and we get to try lots of new things.

For pancakes, I've made about every flavour I can with the some I have at my disposal. So we have 6 different types of chocolate in my work, there's white, milk, dark, mint, ruby and carmel but then there are 4-5 different types of dark chocolate depending on the coco % and what are mini M&M's? The fridges are filled with fresh fruits like strawberries, raspberries, passion fruits, bananas, blueberries, pomegranates, grapes, apples and sometimes other season stuff like comes from the boss's garden like rhubarb, plums or peaches. Then the decorating end has all tons of cool shit to play including flavours, chocolate, candy, nuts, dried fruits and all that good stuff. As you can guess, I mix and match alot of these things into creating some of the best freaking pancakes anyone has ever made. I starting to get a little bored of writing about pancakes and it's making me hungry. Im tempted to go and make a small batch now for eating, I work off a 30 pancakes batch but I could break it down to 1/5 to make 6 for myself. Let's see, 240g of soda flour, 100g of sugar, 3g of baking powder and a pinch of salt would do it. Mix that together and then add 2 eggs and 180ml of buttermilk. I only have normal full fat milk but we work with what we have. So, im going to make some pancakes. Im 2094 words into this bitch and I dont think I can do another 10k words without food. If I stop to make pancakes I think I'll return not motivated to finish this off so I should really keep going. I'll down my bottle of water and trick myself into thinking im full and then grab something quick in an hour. If I stop now, I'll not finish and im only 1/6th of the way in. Not bad all the same as I've only been talking about writing a long post, how I get my weed and pancakes.

What has been the buzz on HIVE recently? Oh, the airdrops for 3speak and the game with the same name as that Thor movie. I knew nothing of either of them really, I did used to use 3speak back in the day when I was uploading weekly SPinvest update videos but I had lots of problems uploading and ended up using youtube. I think there was an internal team with the team/dev's fighting with each other are some bullshit. Either way, the site was working shit back then and I stopped using it. It could be better now, I might check it out for a nosey but I dont think I'll be going back to making videos again. I was recording for 30 minutes, editing for 5-6 hours and sometimes getting under 5 views. The content was very niche so I was blocking myself out when we consider not many people use 3speak back then. I have not looked into the use cases for this SPK token yet but im guessing it's like a tribe token and will perform like one. Maybe they have some cool use cases but I've not looked into it. As for the Thor game, I have not looked into it at all because I dont really play games so im only really interested in the airdrop. Im not even that interested in the airdrop but I'll get the airdrop so I'll check it out when it comes. Im, sure there will be 2 million posts about how to claim your airdrop when the time comes. It's always a race to see who can get the first tutorial post/video out as it's easy content that will get lots of views and upvotes. Everyone remembers back to back CUBfinance launched and there were at 200 posts over the next month about how to use it, everyone repeating to same content with the spin-off. I guess everyone is just super excited to get something for nothing and be part of a brand new project on the ground floor. Im still using CUBfinance for my personal holdings, I mean the price has gone to hell but it's doing what it is supposed to do. I mostly hold positions in the BTC/BNB and BNB/BUSD kingdoms. I claim rewards mostly weekly and convert them to BNB.

For someones that runs a few investment projects on HIVE, my personal asset allocations are fairly simple. , I'd say 20-25% is in precious metals, 5% is in stocks and the remaining 60-65% is in crypto-related holdings. I dont hold tons of different cryptos either, the bulk being BTC, SPI, ETH and stables in that order. I could liquidate all these easy enough, SPI might take a few days because I hold a bunch but then again I dont see a time when I'll have to exit a large amount more than SPI can handle. I do believe in holding alot of my own fund tokens, I think it shows that I really believe in it. I do believe in it and if I see people selling SPI's on hive-engine for 75-80% of their true value, I'll probably buy them because it's the same as paying 80 cents for a dollar. SPI offer's a 95% buyback that will be sorted within a few hours but people would rather list them for 80% of their time value and then wait days are weeks to get the orders filled. That shit is funny to me. More recently I have not been buying any because I already have just over 15% of the tokens in circulation and I think that's enough. I bought all my SPI's from my own funds, I am not compensated in any way to run SPinvest other than to increase the price of the token. I own alot because I believe it will be worth alot more in the future. When launched, each SPI was worth 40 cents, the price of HIVE declined and SPI bottomed out at 13 cents. Today, each SPI is worth 2.5 HIVE are roughly $3.50. Either way, it's up to 2.5x on HIVE and over 20x on its dollar price. I plan to sell alot of SPI's liquid holdings into stables to holding until the price of everything drops 60% plus. If I can sell 20,000 HIVE for SPI when HIVE is $3 (assuming the bull run is not over), that would be $60,000 in stables. We hold these stables for 2 years while earning say 8% to give us near $70,000 and when the price of HIVE goes to under 50 cents again, we load up on 140,000 HIVE and wait for the next bull run. I guess alot of SPI and LBI investors see me doing things and dont understand why I do it and dont think about my long term goal of buying back in.

If you look at the SPI wallet, you'll see 20,000 liquid HIVE just sitting there not doing anything. I hold it there so that when HIVE moons, we have it at hand to convert into dollars. Your thinking, what? Your a HIVE backed fund and your selling HIVE, burn him at the stake. I am aware I could be using that to earn a shit ton of daily income on something like beeswap but im not prepared to convert HIVE into something else are pair it off against another token because of IL. All I can say is that every investment has 2 parts, 1 to buy and 1 to sell. In this case, it's the other way round because we sell HIVE and then buy it back. I have not done this before for SPI because this is once in a market cycle stuff and it's not been in operation long enough. I do believe that I'll be able to flip 20,000 HIVE into at least 100,000 in 2-3 years. ANyways, it makes sense on paper, I hope it plays that way because a few sell orders within the next months and buying back into the market at a later date could make SPI hella rich and push SPI's from a 6 figure fund to a 7 figure one. That's the hope anyway, I dont see why it will not happen. The biggest thing is waiting. Not much can go wrong with selling toward the end of the bull market and buying back in during the next crypto winter when everything is 90% down and just holding again until the next bullrun. You can take all your complex defi compounding plans and stick them up to your ass. The best thing to do is just earn, HODL and do 1 big flip every market cycle. Time is the key. I have all seen these jive assed turkeys on discord are writing posts about how they are making a killing on some defi earning 1000% APY. These same turkeys will always be broke because they chase a dream that requires alot of luck. We've all seen from CUBfinance that the price of the farm token will drop off massively, this is very common with farm tokens but people for some reason always think the one they are invested in is different. Reminds me of the time i was living in Thailand running a bar and i'd see a guy walk in loved up with some hooker he'd been seeing/paying for 2 weeks. I could not count how many of these guy told me their "girlfriends” were different”I had 1 girl work for me had 3 boyfriends, lol. How many people were saying "im APING into staking CUB's hard" when the price dropped from $3 down to $2. Others would comment "can't go wrong earning a 150% APY" but it could go wrong and it did go wrong for many people. Mostly smaller investors fall into this trap, blinded by the high APY's and dreams of an easy life. The best thing to do is sell that shit and convert it into something that is good. Im not talking about CUBfinance, im talking about all farms. The secret to winning is dont buy the farm token and sell the farm token when you get it. Dont HODL that shit because you'll lose your money. Earning 150% of a CUB kingdom is cool when CUB is priced at $3 each but if the price drops 90% to 30 cents, the same 150% is not that great anymore. You're best using proper cryptos for staking to ensure you are not compounding shit on top of itself. That's my 2 cents on the subject, I keep most of my crypto on platforms like Nexo because it's truly passive income and sometimes 5% on BTC are ETH can be much more profitable long term compared to "fake" high APY's, blockchain fees and impermanent lose that farming offers.

The way I think about it is if I earn 0.05 BTC from 1 BTC this year worth around $2000 and BTC is going to be over $1 million each in 20 years from now, that 0.05 BC I earned this year will be worth over $50,000 in 20 years. And that's only 1 year's worth of interest. Im not convinced that compounding down farm tokens is the way to go if you're trying to increase your net worth over time. My guess is most people think they need to be actively doing something with their money all the time to make them feel like they are building their money faster when the fact of the matter is, the best thing to do is put your money into the best thing and then wait. Why be involved with 50 cryptos to get a slice of everything when you can funnel it all into BTC or ETH. There is no need at all to be involved with so many things if your end goal is to increase your net worth. I mean sure, have a little play money but I but have the bulk of your money somewhere safe. Earning 100% on a shitcoin is not a smart plan when you can earn 5% of BTC are even 10% from stables is better.

Pretty much done my spliff now, 3837 words in. I guess I better go for a toilet break, I have been bouncing around in my chair for the past 20 minutes. I'll gonna cave in a get some food, just gonna get something really fast like a pot noodle and then I'll be fuelled to get the next few thousand words done. Why im am I doing this? It's really a stupid thing to do and a complete waste of time, I have shit to do in the real world and have I am at fuck knows what time of the day it is trying to write a 12k word post just for the fuck of it. Sometimes I think to myself, im I living my life right? Do I have my shit together and then I think hell yeah!!! Im doing ok and I've I wanna waste 5-6 hours writing 12,000 words of nothing just to fill a HIVE block for the fuck of it, then it's a good use of time. By this point, nobody is reading this post, that's 100% for sure. I could write anything like God is fake and only idiots believe in such fairy tales or women are not equal to men are some bullshit and I'll not get any hate for it. It's sorta cool in a way, a few things have just gone through my mind but I think there are bots scanning the HIVE blockchains content and I dont wanna just to be blacklisted for writing certain words just for a laugh. It would be funny all the same if you're still reading this, good for you. I'll guess the further we go the more random the writing will become. I dont think I've ever written anything this long before so it'll be interesting to see how my style changes. When I used to play poker, it would take me 20-30 mins to warm and get a feel for the table but after about 5-6 hours and my head was like jelly, I played completely different. I wonder if the same is true for writing. Righto, so I gotta take a piss and grab another drink. Im feeling like a gingerbread hot chocolate from the coffee pod machine.

Never went for the hot chocolate, i went for the pot noodle and bag of crisps. Ended up watching a little youtube and I got round to ordering some weed. It's coming up to 7 am so better to get it done to make sure it's shipped today. I've I can do this for a while I should be able to add a few hundred words sorta easy. I should get a much as I can do before the kids wake up, they can take care of themselves and the wife does the breakfast so no work from me but there is more stuff going on and getting as much done now is better cause it's easier. If I can get another 1000 words done before they wake up, that would mean im halfway done and on the better half of things. Sometimes, I dont why I do these stupid things, the post payout will not be any better than normal because it's all auto votes so it's not like im thinking this post will be well are anything. That's a funny thing about producing content on HIVE, your pay is determined by the number of auto votes you can collect. I see some people of HIVE pumping out the same content every day and earning a tiny fortune from it. Some people release those atifit things and others just re write what they read in the crypto news. I could do the same and I think about it often. It would be pretty easy to bang out some shit post everyday and collect the auto votes from it. I see posts with 500 upvotes and 2 comments, 2 comments from upvoting services and I think if others are raping HIVE, why dont I do the same. I reckon I could easily make $10,000 per year from releasing a daily shit post, I should but I dont because I dont like the idea of posting just to get some HIVE. I like to post when I wanna post and that is not very often. I understand it's a great way to make money but it's comparable to filling out surveys are watching adverts for cash in a small way. You can see it in many people posts that they are just going through the stages and forcing themselves to upload something just to collect those auto votes. I like to produce content but im not putting stuff out for the sake of putting stuff out. Plus the 1 week payout thing is.

What do you think about the 7-day HIVE payout window? I personally dont like it because I think there are way better posts on HIVE than the ones shown in trending which are mostly the same based on what's popular on the blockchain that week. I have had countless times when I've to google search something and been linked to an old post that turns out to be really useful and im not able to upvote it. Well, I can buy the rewards to add to this week's rewards pool and the users never see it. It's strange that lots of users use Google to search to find things on HIVE.blog. The layout of HIVE blogs still baffles me and it's sorta unreal that the best way to get to your first ever post is to scroll down for 10 minutes through your whole timeline. Like why have they not added albums yet for users can catalogue their posts? I guess there's no incentive as we dont get paid for posts over 7 days old so never mind. On top of that, alot of the interaction between users is done on discord. Not to sound like a hater but HIVE is supposed to be a social media blockchain and users use discord to chat with each other. Do you think Facebook would be cool with users using skype for DM's? Anyways, I've always thought that is very strange. People that think HIVE is going to the moon sometimes need to look at HIVE and see what it is. Sure there's lots of cool shit on HIVEs centralized 2nd layer but apart from it, it's a few buggy frontends that look, feel and operate like they were released 20 years ago. HIVE is an awesome blockchain but if SMT's are never released, who cares? It'll become a token that people get for free from content with no real use case. Im guessing SMT's will be launched at some time, if that within the next 12 months are 20 years I dont know.

Im up to 5041 words now, cool stuff. Not even at the half way mark yet but getting there. What other crap can i talk about? I have have youtube on the other screen and im seeing some passive income thumbnails so lets see how many words i can blurt about passive incomes. We all love to learn how to generate new forms of passive income with the dream of retiring and living off the interest payments from stock dividends, crypto staking rewards, property rental income, auto drop shipping business, etc. It's a nice dream and the internet is littered with articles and videos with titles like "How to earn $100 a day in passive income in under 1 month" or "5 ways to earn $100k+ every year", some bullshit like this.

The fact of the matter is most people will never get to the point where they will be able to survive solely on passive incomes. It's a nice dream and that's why posts and videos about passive incomes are very popular but they mostly fail to mention one thing.

You need a shit ton of money!!

6 figures is probably not enough even high 6 figures to earn enough to support yourself. You'll need $1 million-plus. You could do with less than a milly if you were invested in farm's and other forms of riskier defi but it might only last a few months are years until something out of your control happens and you get wrecked and lose a bunch of money. This can happen with any investment but with most of "defi", the risks are increased. Plus, 90% of defi is not passive as you are required to claim rewards which sound like "its only takes a few mins" thing but is a pain in the ass if you gotta do it everyday/week.

You'd need to have $1 million-plus to make a comfy $40-90k per year depending on where your funds are allocated. Ideally spilt over 5-10 different investments. Things like

  • Stocks and index trackers
  • Stable token staking (reinvest first 3% every year to keep up with inflation)
  • Rental property with an agency in charge (Low APY)
  • Small higher risk investments (1-2%)

There are prob more but the first 4 that come to my mind.

Investing into a stock index tracker like the SP-500 grows an average of 6-8% per year. My plan for this would be to take out 4% per year of the total holdings, every year. Based on average growth of 7%, 3% is left over to counteract future inflation. Of course, it does not grow by 7% per year, some years might be plus 12% and other years could be minus 6% but on average it's reported to be around 7% over 15-20 years. The work required would be 1 time per year when you scape off 4% of your holdings and withdraw the funds to your bank account.

Stable token staking on peep to peep lending platforms will earn between 7-12% per year. Same thing here with reinvestment to cover inflation, I would remove 4% and let the rest compound to increase payments next year a little more aggressively than with stocks. So if I were earning 10% from stable staking, I would be removing 4% and compounding down the remaining 6%. Also, I would not have any more than 25% of my investment fund in stable staking. The work required would to withdraw 4% of your balances every year and transfer them to your bank account.

Rental properties after insurance, property rates, repairs, agency fees, etc would be under 5% APY per year I guess but you own property that will increase in value over time. Property is safe as fook but you need alot to earn alot, 2-3 properties are probably not enough but would be a good start. To get into the rental property game I think you'd need $3-5 million to do it properly so you could scale down your costs per property to make them more profitable. You'd need to be rich rich to do property. The work here is setting it all it, buying properties, getting them ready, finding agents, setting up all the paperwork for rates, fees, insurances, tax, blah, blah. The end goal would be hopefully a monthly payment from the agency and a few phone calls per year to give updates and ask permission to spend money on repairs and stuff like that.

These 3 examples are very safe options for your investment fund. They are very boring but they are not supposed to be sexy, they are supposed to make a passive income. It's hard to put these in order of risk, I would put stable staking as the riskest but im not sure about index trackers or property because both have been booming for years already and I have no idea which one will pop first if ever. Long term, whatever happens, it'll be a blip on the charts. So there you have it if you wanna earn enough from passive incomes you need to have a shit ton of money, who would have thought?

The best way to build wealth is by grinding it out for years. Invest into safe investments using dollar-cost averaging little and often. Start a side hustle, blog, create a project, do something in the real world by monetizing your hobby. By the time you have enough money to create proper passive incomes, enough to live a certain lifestyle, you'll not be reading silly articles or watching videos about passive income because you'll already know what to do.From my POV, passive income is the end goal. That's right at the end of a very long journey of building wealth. People focus on the end goal without thinking about how to get there. The end goal of sitting back and earning enough to stop working is far far away, the journey on getting there is important and that's what alot of these articles done say. I guess the total of how to make $50k per month in passive income with $1 million in holding does not sound as sexy as most people dont have $1 million to play with. Taking another guess, I'd say most people with $1 million liquidate assets are probably not watching videos o youtube made by people that do not know what they are talking about.

Ok, im about halfway done the post now, this is turning into a bigger challenge than I first thought. I was thinking I write 1000 word posts all the time and this would be easy but it turned out to not be that easy. I guess I never thought it was like writing 10 posts back to back, more like just dragging out the length of one post more but it's starting to feel like writing 10 posts to back. I wonder how long it would take to write this whole post when it's complete. I can do a quick good search and it says it should take an average reader around 40 minutes to read that many words. I reckon if I keep talking about how hard it is to write 12k words and I keep doing that over and over I'll get there sooner. The pancake times feel like a lifetime ago to me now, the kids are away to school and it's just me, the wife and the dog. The wife is busy doing her own thing and so is the dog so im left here to get my silly post written. So far, not so bad but I fear the second half will not come as easy. Im already getting distracted with discord, youtube and other things going on about me. Also, it's been around 4-5 hours since i started and im thinking it's time to get a shower, lol. Im still in my PJ's but we are coming into working hours and even im im only planning on chilling around the house all day, probably a good idea to get washed and dressed just encase someone call rounds like my parents are one of my siblings. Why are you involved with crypto? Most people will say some bullshit like they like the technology or it's decentralized and it's the future but the same people dont have a fucking clue how blockchain or decentralization works. Im not saying I do either but I am not into crypto for the technology or "decentralization". What I've learned over the past few years is people dont actually have a clue what they want, they say one thing and do another. People, in general, are completely full of shit and everyone just copies everyone else. It's pretty funny to watch and I starting to feel like an outsider just watching everything. They dont consider the price of the shit crypto they buy to get airdrops/huge APY's on going down. You buy a token for 50 cents each to get an airdrop of tokens worth 5 cents each but the shit crypto you bought at 50 cents to get the airdrop drops 50% to 25 cents after everyone else is dumping it because they got the same airdrop as you and dont need that crypto anymore. Welcome to -40%ville. You buy $1000 of some farm tokens for $1 each, earn 100% for a year and end up with 2000 farm tokens worth 5 cents each. Your "investment" is now worth $100 BUT... you'd still be earning 100% APY, right? haha. You've just lost 90% of your investment but you still earning $100 a year and feel like you are winning. I see people on discord and telegram talking about how much they "will" make without consideration on how they could lose money. As I said, it's funny to watch people getting wrecked while they think they are making bank. I used to try to explain to people but they never listened so I dont bother anymore and just watch them get repeatedly wrecked. I say it's funny but my 2 options are laugh and cry.

NFT's...Jesus, dont get me started on NFT's. Put the deeds to my house onto an NFT and you have a use case. Put my bank account into an NFT and we have a use case. Give me an NFT with a serial number and proof of ownership for my TV, mobile phone, console, pets, clothes, cars, you get the idea, everything. Using NFT's for jpeg's is the same as using a space shuttle to visit the local store. We have the technology at our fingertips and we squander it on stupid shit like... I understand everything has to start somewhere. NFT's for gaming is something I like because it's much better than the options available now. Ownership and being able to monetize are the main differences. This is much better than traditional gaming where you own nothing. JPEG's are not better than physical art. Maybe im a boomer and it's just over my head. Im a silver stacker and hold all my metals, I dont do ETF's so maybe my stacking habits are holding me back in this digital age. Im only 36 BTW, im not real old are everything, just have a lot of wisdom, ya know? Delusional wisdom maybe but a gold nugget covered in shit is still a gold nugget (covered in shit)... People are full of shit and lying about why they are into crypto to save face. Let's be honest here for a few lines and speak the truth. We're all here for the $'s, £'s, Euros, whatever you spend in your home country, your into crypto to make money. If you love it and enjoy doing anything involved with crypto, that's cool but you're still doing it to make money. If there was 0 $ to be made, a few might remain because they actually do love blockchain but I dont think it would be many. Decentralization is another reason alot of people say they are involved with crypto but all the biggest things within crypto are centralized. If people think decentralization is the future, why are centralized services the biggest and most used within crypto? As you can guess, im into crypto to make money. I enjoy it and consider it a hobby but if there were no money involved, I would be crypto what? I bought BTC weekly for over 2 years between 2018-20 because I think the price will go up and I'll be able to sell it for a profit as more people start to hold it. As far as the technology behind it, all I care about is SHA-256 remaining unhackable. I could not explain the technology behind most of my holdings, can you with yours? All I know is 2 things, 1, breaking sha-256 is a process that would take time and is not likely to get broken by some teenager in their basement and 2, as it takes more electricity to hash blocks, the cost to produce a BTC will continue to increase meaning, in theory, the price of BTC should increase as well.

As for decentralization, I dont care about the buzzword so much. All the best things are centralized because they have teams of people responsible for certain tasks and shit gets done. Do I like having to KYC, no! but this is the price I pay for convenience. I know a few will read this and think I've got it backwards but we all use metamask, hive-engine, im sure 95% will have an account with either coinbase or Binance and quite a few will be invested into CUBdefi.com which are all centralized. I dont get it, I dont get why people love decentralization so much. Im not against it but im a consumer and I'll use what's best. Who has time to vote for governance on 10-20 different projects they dont care about? why not leave someone who is an expert to make the discussions instead of investors that are only motivated by quick profits. The idea is nice but in practice, it's not a great idea. his is just my POV as well, I could be wrong. We'll find out in the future, in the future when we have web3.0, another buzzword. web3.0 is a real thing but what's being promoted in the media is not. It's like comparing BTC to whatever China's state "crypto" is called. Fake wannabe's, shit wrapped in silk, whatever you wanna call it. That's what we are going to end up with. Think about how many BTC are already lost and gone forever due to people losing passwords, broken HDD's are sent to the wrong address. They say it's as much as 25% of circulating BTC, tink in another 20 years from now would that number will be and we all know some super-smart mofo will have found a way to track all the BTC and give us a good number. I would not be surprised if 40% of BTC were gone forever as we head into 2040. Is this a good are a bad thing? Good because less in circulation but bad because less in circulation. I understand I cancel myself out but I've been writing a few hours now and when you think about they are both right, im just gonna take the time to write it out and explain it because you can probably think for yourself and im looking for easy stuff to write about. In hindsight, I could have added so sort of game into this. Like I hide a certain word in here 10 times and you have to comment with the next word in the comments below. We cant do things like that anymore, people are too savvy now and know they can just copy/paste to the whole post into word and search for that word and after 2 minutes, they have the answers. I did this once before with a much short post and had answered back within the first 5 minutes. You have to be careful when giving things away because someone will always find a shortcut you've not thought about. Anyways thats enough about that guy. I've taken a 6-hour break between the last paragraph and this one. I was talking to someone on discord about a few changes that are going to be added to SPI soon. We were talking about the best way to add them in and I have been thinking of a few different ways. I consider SPI to be the only true fund token on hive-engine for a few reasons. It's the only token that offers a buyback, SPI will buy any amount of SPI's, our biggest backpack to date is $10,000. You'll not get that with any other investment token on hive-engine, you're stuck selling them off at huge discounts over long periods of time. The fact that the SPI token consistently sells for a 20% discount on hive-engine shows that people care very little about liquidity and that's kinda sad to see because I thought a buyback offer was a thing people would value. Anyways, I was thinking about starting to pay people for doing stuff for SPI because it's been long enough and i think the project can support paying out some money to the people that help to build it. Hedge funds have a pretty standard payout for the teams. It's the 2 and 20 rule. That's 2% of holdings plus 20% of profits. To me, that's sounds awesome. My take-home pay from SPI at the end of year 1 would have been $34,000 based on the fund going from $50k to $200k. 2% of total holdings was $4000 and 20% of $150k profit is $30,000. SPI is worth closer to $350k at the time of writing so I'd be on for a better year this year. It's nice dreaming about it because my take home is nothing but it gets me thinking about different things. There are 3 people for SPI that run accounts and are responsible for managing funds, everyone else produce's content has an advisory role. I had been thinking of a profit share for the ones that run accounts but I personally manage alot more than the other 2 guys so im not sure how to work that out. It's easy to say ok, someone that runs a wallet gets 15% of the profits but I might manage 90% of the funds so now it seems like a lot. I mean 15% going to 10 people managing $35k each sounds ok but 90% of the 15% going to one person sounds greedy. I like money but I'd rather have a good reputation because I think it's more valuable when you run projects as I run. I do have plans for the 2 and 20 rule but not for a long time, a long long time. SPI would need to be worth over $5 million to consider it. For now, I need to think of something that rewards people that help to grow the fund but nothing at extreme as 2 and 20. The idea from the start was always to take something from SPI but I figured there was no point for the first few years. It's been a crazy ride watching it go from a bottom of $12k to a peak of over $600k in under 3 years from launch. I dont think we'll keep making these rates of returns year in year out as it gets harder the more you have. Still, no reason why it still can't do 20% during the bear market. SPI has been a total trip from the beginning, it's been a madness running it and I have learnt alot of cool shit. Its sorta of easy to run and hard at the same time, i focused on building highly liquid assets, this lets me offer the buyback and i resist from alot of FOMO, i sell airdrops, HE tribes tokens, whatever i get for free and covert it all to HIVE. I have no reason to hold a tribe token that's not gonna do anything. They all drop in value so why hold them? better to just sell;l them int HIVE, right? I mean if im looking to lock in profits, the best thing to do is cut the fat. SPI has no need are reason to hold tons of PAL just to say we hold tons of PAL. SPI could be a top 10 token holder of any tribe on hive-engine but liquidity is not there, tribes are dead projects with the exception of 1-2 and why make more work for yourself. Just cherry-pick the best stuff and APE.

Beeswap is looking pretty good to me atm, it's looking like a good way to earn some passive income, proper passive income. Personally, I'd be selling the BXT token but that just me, I dont like to hold the farm token. If the APY is based on the current price and the price BXT drops 50% and you dont sell any, you've cut your APY by 50%. I under the staking rewards in HIVE are good but I'd rather get the HIVE right away from selling the BXT as I need that HIVE to pay out weekly dividends. I have dipped the toe for SPI into BEESWAP into the HIVE/BUSD pool for $1500. It's earning 60% per year and im considering dipping some profits from CUBfinance into this to build it by a few hundred dollars every week. I dont know but im liking BEESWAP, I love to add a pool for SPI into HIVE but I can't pay the 1000 BEE needed. I knew BEE is trading at 0.50 HIVE each but still, 500 HIVE for a pool that not many people will use is not really worth it. So that's a few things I have been thinking about SPI I guess, what's the word count? 9360 so just over 3/4's the way there.

I think the number for most characters that can be fit into a post was 65,500. That 1 hour in detention was hell but here I am 20 years later writing out 12k words for fun, just so I can brag about it to people I dont know and dont care. I wonder what my hourly rate will turn out to be for this post? I hope some whale picks it up and it goes triple digits, believe it or not, I have never had a post go into triple digits $ value. Of wait, I forgot about teh madness of 2017 when I was getting around $200 a day from steemit from content. What else can I write about, think, think, think. I know a bunch about silver but im not in the mood to write about that, in fact, im never really in the mood to write about silver anymore. I've done near 1000 posts on the subject of silver so im all silvered out forever I guess. I dont even really buy it anymore either, missed the compete for the 2021 collections and not really cared that much. I used to buy a certain amount of certain series every year, all low premium coins like kooks, panda's and the like so I'd have an awesome looking collection. While I do have an awesome collection/stack but the problem is when it comes to selling are in my case sell to convert to gold or convert directly to gold if i can find the option at the time. My problem is all those different coins from different series are all worth different amounts, some will be worth more than others and most will be worth a few £ over the silver spot I guess. During my last year, I mostly bought only silver Britannia's as they are cheap and the easiest for me to sell in the UK both back to bullion banks and on the secondary market. Plus listing 500x 2015 Brits' for sale is easier than 5x of 100 different coins. All the questions, picture requests and of course haggles of they buy more than one. I would likely sell my silver through thesilverforum which is an excellent forum for stackers. I've been a member for many years since it was small so I have decent rep and seller points from past trades. I wonder what the silver to gold ratio is, lets google it and google says 79 to 1 so 79 ozs of silver is equal to 1 oz of gold. Damn last time I checked it was around 65 to 1. Around 2 years ago it was over 100 to 1 which is crazy so it's nice to see it still lower than that. When are if silver ever hits are dropped below 50 to 1, I plan to convert out 90% of my silver into gold sovereigns. The 105 I'll keep will be my forever stack that I take with me to the grave. There are a few coins in there I'll not be able to give up, im attached to them so it's dead money but the other 90% will go into sovs. Why sovs? Well, a few reasons, mostly because they can be bought close to spot price, secondary they are very liquid and easy to resell for close to spot and lastly, gold is way heavier than silver so it takes much less space to store it. A gold sov is about the size of a UK penny or a nickel from the States, that's worth the same as 20 ozs of silver. That's 7g of gold equal to 620 grams of silver. Metals are weighed in troy oz's, not matric ozs. A troy oz is equal to 31.1 grams and a normal oz is equal to 28grams. So an oz of silver weighs 31.1 grams and an oz of weed weighs 28 grams. So there you have it, I said I was not in the mood to write about silver and I was able to produce a few hundred words on the subject talking about my plan to convert 90% of my silver into gold when the silver to ratio hits 50 to 1.

It's starting to feel like I have been sitting in this chair from yesterday writing this fucking post. It's a comfy chair, all the same, I have one of those PC gaming chairs that is like a bucket seat style and it tilts back 160 degrees so almost flat. It's pretty boss, my wife get it for me and it's been serving my skinny ass well ever since, was a massive upgrade from my last old beaten up office chair that was lumpy and would give me a swore lower back after a few hours of sitting. I have a nice set-up for my workstation, everything I could need really. I built my own table because I wanted something solid so I used a countertop that you'd use in your kitchen, covered the back and under it with led light strips because go-faster stripes. Then I drilled a hole through the desk tabletop to install my double monitor holder. It's one of those pole ones that hold 2 screens. I add led lights to the backs to the screens because of go-faster stripes of course. I have a decent set of speakers and subwoofer, a lava lamp, an echo dot and my PC sits in the corner against the wall with its see-through side into more LED lights because go faster PC lights. I have a 7 USB port adaptor should I need to charge anything, my keys and mouse if Bluetooth for no worse and I use one of those extra big mouse mats. Mine is something like 90 cm wide and 25 cm deep. I like that I can use it for the mouse and use it to set my keyboard on and it does not slip about. The dog like it so i have to put it away each night.

My dog got ahold of my echo dot last week and took it into the back garden. It lay in the rain on wet grass for about 7 hours until I got back home, saw it was missing and checked the CCTV to what happened to it. I gave it a wipe as it was wet, plugged it in and bingo it still worked. It's sat there for the 9 months I've had him and he's never touched it before. He pulled it off the table a few nights later and but this time he going brought it to the back door that's covered over so it never got wet. Right now, it's attached to the wall after buying a wall mount the other day and installing it yesterday. God damn, Amazon is an amazing company. People hate on Jeff Bezos because he's hella rich but he only owns stock in his won company and the investor's control the stock price so not really upto him but love him or hate him, I can order pretty much anything I like today and get it by tomorrow. That's pretty cool if you ask me. There are a few local firms that offer same-day delivery but stock is limited to a few thousand things and not a few thousand of everything. Ok, im talking about Amazon, its time to check the word count.

You ever heard of Mr Beast from youtube, he used to do stupid things like count to 100,000 are say somebody's name 100,000 times in 1 take. He read out the whole script to the move BEE in one take, said the longest word ever which take him a few hours and even cut a table in half with plastic knives. I love Mr Beast so much, I've watched Mr Beast watch paint dry. When I think someone can do that, i can write a 12k word post pretty easy. Here so I just farted and it woke the dog up, I think that shits funny as when it happens. So yeah, writing up 12k words should not be a huge problem. I dont others will do this as it does take some time but it would be really cool if a bunch of people did write 12k posts to have their won block on the chain. Think about if HIVE is till active in 30-40 years from now and it's being used by lots of people, you have your time in history forever on the blockchain are until the internet stops being a thing. Sure this post is mostly pure shit talk but hey, im 9/10ths way done on uploading the biggest post ever to the chain. It might have been done before but I'm aiming for max character count. It more than likely does but I guess in the grand picture, the title is small potatoes. It's almost dinner time so I will be taking another break soon to get that and see what everyone has been up to all day. Im guessing am under 1000 words for sure by now.

So have you seen the weather outside today, boy oh boy that whether that's outside is always changing. Some days it's doing this, other days it's doing that, how can we plan our days when we dont know what's next? I tell you, that weather, you need to keep an eye on that. This is how I imagine my convos going when im old and talking to other old people while we wait in queues at the post office are something. I see it starting to happen at 36, the weather is a good opener for someone you've not seen in a while are cant really remember from school. My guess is as I get older, I'll forget more people I've not seen in decades and the weather convo replaces a real convo because I dont know who im talking to. Maybe old people like talking about the weather because they can enjoy it while the rest of us are stuck in either work or school all-day.

We have it all wrong, life is backwards. As it is, we are born, we get taken care of, we learn basic things, we grow up grow to school get a job and hit our peak in our early 30's then it's 50 years if your lucky if downhill. You have some kids and work until your too to old and considered useless by society, you get older, less useful, more of a burden on your kids, your health gets fucked and the pains that used to go away dont go away anymore until some doctor tells you are on 30 pills a day for the rest of your life and you go out not knowing your own name. We should be born old full of wisdom and knowledge, get more fit, healthy and stronger as we get younger. We would have 20 years of retirement before we need to go to work for 50 years, 20 years to enjoy getting healthier and smarter. You work for 50 years then retirement is back to school for 15 years of socializing and parties until you end up back to a 5-year-old where you get to chill your last 5 years chilling with your mum, forgoing everything you ever learned back to day 0. What in the sam hell im i talking about, living backwards lives.
