I am into my 5th season of Rabona and I'm finally beginning to find my feet around the big boys in the League of Champions. That has a lot to do with the 5.12 million RBN contract I received at the beginning of last season. I used a lot of that RBN to buy and upgrade my defence and midfield and that has made all the difference. Good strikers are just hard to find, so there's that. I'll just have to scout and train strikers.

Let's leave the season progresses for now and look at the financials of my team now. This is my income from last season.

And these are my expenditures :

As you can see I have moved well into the positive flow and I am hoping for this to continue for at least 2 more seasons, which is when my crazy Ad Contract expires. Whether I get another such contract, we'll have to wait and see.

I have cruised along to over 5 million fans and that is reflecting pretty well on my merchandise income. I'll show my match by match financials in a moment and you'll see what a big impact the number of fans can make. But first, here's the ranking in terms of fans :

Not bad!

I remember in my first few seasons, only home games created a positive cashflow and away games ended up in a negative flow. This is because I was playing quite a bit for player salaries and the only income on away games is from merchandise. This is how my last away game financials looks like :

After paying player salaries and merchandise expenses, the net was nearly 82k RBN. Home games get another extra 70k RBN from ticket sales. I am currently upgrading my stadium. So hopefully ticket sales will go up next season and I will continue to upgrade the stadium.

But then comes the next step we wanna see, a market for RBN. Currently it is not listed on Hive-engine and p2p deals are the only way to convert RBN to hive. For me that is important for one reason only, training. And maybe freeze and unfreeze a few players here and there. But primarily to reset training. The reason training is so important is, it is pretty difficult to get a player with the exact stats you need on the market. One or the other stat will have some shortcomings and you will have to do a few extra training session to be competitive at the top level.

Last season I ended up at position 5 in the League of Champions. In terms of season rewards, that was not bad. It was pretty good actually.

Guess where it went! Yes, Training :D I am hoping for a higher finish this season. Nah, not for the season rewards. Football is not about the money for me, you can't put a price on passion :)
