$KOG Staking and Tips

Like the big dummy I am...

I presumed everyone playing in Splinterlands had somehow magically stumbled into the rest of HIVE, and just knew about all the tokens on Hive Engine, the varying functions and utilities they can have, and how to use any of them. As it turns out, as with so many other things, I was wrong. (Fade to next paragraph as sad violin plays).

So, to correct my mistake, I thought I'd drop a post about how this whole thing is supposed to work.

$KOG Is a Vanity Token

It's monopoly money. It's something to throw on your downed opponent to tell him to go buy himself some skillz, and where said skillz are found. It drops a hilarious calling card, in public, to really rub it in. I want to upgrade it to an animation, but more on that another time.

In summary, it's a friendly, and fun way to talk smack to other players as a club. A group of players so bad ass, you see their brand all over everything, AND they might beat you so savagely, they compensate you with charity, straight from the golden goose!

How It Works

$KOG is distributed, via Hive Engine, to guild leaders, who distribute it members.

Members/holders need to stake* a minimum of 10 $KOG to unlock x1/day tipping functions, 100 x3/day, & 1000 x10/day. Type !KOG in any comment or reply of the user you want to taunt tip. *Go to your wallet in Hive Engine there's and find a button to the right of your balance that looks like a padlock. Click that.

That's really it. As it stands, I've distributed enough for every member to have enough to stake to unlock tipping, so we can all play with it, and start getting it out there. I've gotten a few, which I had mixed feelings about, but I'm not gonna go on and on whining about it... minutes pass...

...more minutes pass...

Oh! You're still here? I said that was it, man. We're done. Let's get to it!
