CreativeCoin: The Tribe that Gave Up

Once upon a time, every person on the planet.., er STEEM blockchain used the #creativecoin tag for their photography, creative writing, and other such nonsense.

We creative bloggers were thrilled that such a thing existed. We piled all our hard-earned STEEM (Yes, that's not a misprint) into the steem.engine placing buy orders or just buying the sell orders at the ludicrous prices CCC was demanding.

I saw #creativecoin Whales and Orcas. The dapp was strictly moderated by such names as @derangedvisions and non-creative content was flagged if deemed unworthy of the tag.

Many of us jumped on the creative bandwagon (including me). I know @katharsisdrill and @meesterboom had larger stashes than me at one time, and I had over 20,000 CCC tokens.

...'the value of CCC is dismal, can it be rescued?'...

Then the euphoria of the steem.engine dwindled, and to make it worse HIVE was born out of the STEEM divorce almost a year ago.

When I say worse, both the newly born hive.engine and the formally used by us (steem.engine) may have then been at their lowest ebbs.

Some of the tribes made it to hive.engine including CCC. Someone must have given a shit 11 months ago.

The ones that didn’t or farted around too long before making the jump (JAHM), lost almost all of their potential.

Let me make it clear that I am not writing this article to slur #creativecoin. I still have over 10,000 tokens staked. Value $6. Why would I sell them?

What I am trying to do is kick some people into life and let them know it can be rescued. Just one positive post and that token will leap up again (temporarily). What the fuck happened, @isaria, @derangedvisions, @swelker101?

The discord channel is like a Ghost Town. I have tried to get some answers, as have others. All are met with a deathly silence.

*...'CCC is not dead? Look at that burn rate, is someone doing something behind the scenes?'...

The dapp, after being down for so long is back up https://www.creativecoin.xyz/. Does this mean someone cares? I have to admit I was shocked to see it back.

The token still trades but who is bothered anymore, besides maybe swing traders who are gambling?

In the last few months, I have seen hive.engine spring to life again. We all know crypto is on a bull run. Are we ever going to see any life from one of my previous favourite tribes?

If Shane who is dealing with blame (@swelker101) no longer cares, can he not give the reigns to someone who does.
I hope someone who knows something about #creativecoin can tell us all something positive.
