MEET THE CRACKS - VOL 10: @nealmcspadden
Hello LEO-Folks,
Welcome back to another issue of our "Meet the cracks" series. This one will be the first in a row of three (hopefully four) that is focussing on the members of the LEO-Roundtable group. Our first Interviewpartner is Neal alias @nealmcspadden. He told us that he had not an official role in Leofinance, but is kind of a cheerleading LEO-whale. As you can easily see in the roundtable-vlogs he has a huge knowledge generally in crypto and more specifically in crypto-taxing legislation for the US. In the "Tax Sherpa Stories", on his blog, he gives us weekly details on this issue as well as the most recent political movements in the finance sector and how these are affecting crypto. We are very happy to have Neal here with us. Let's have a look at his answers to our questionnaire.

1. What are your three favorite projects in crypto?
leo, curve, rune
2. Where do you get your financial information from?
I mostly look at charts and statistics. Financial media is entertainment, not really information.
3. When did you buy your first crypto and what kind of token was it?
A little bit of BTC, probably 2015
4. What crypto did you realize your biggest gain on?
Gotta be LEO at this point
5. What crypto did you realize your biggest loss on?
STEEM
6. Who on LEO-finance or HIVE is a real inspiration for you?
lots of great people on leofinance that inspire me. If I had to pick one, it's probably @rollandthomas
7. Pick 1 - Which is better? a/BTC only b/ALTs only c/i can't live without both
c. crypto is an immature market. As markets mature, usually two market leaders emerge. It may not be the first ones.
With his involvement in Defi it is no wonder that Curve is among Neal's top three picks and (besides LEO that may be a given) he is also a RUNE fan. With getting into cryto in 2015 he is one of the early early-adopter and with a bad experience with STEEM also in good company on this platform. His answer to the last question is also very interesting. It looks like he is expecting a shift in crypto market leaders away from BTC or ETH (or both?) during the course crypto is maturing. So we may still be early in the game and there is still the possibility to pick a further leader and retire on the gains. We thank Neal for the time and wish him much success in his projects and tradings.

Willkommen zurück zu einer weiteren Ausgabe unserer "Meet the cracks"-Serie. Diese wird die erste in einer Reihe von drei (hoffentlich vier) Ausgaben sein, die sich auf die Mitglieder der LEO-Roundtable-Gruppe konzentriert. 2. Woher beziehen Sie Ihre Finanzinformationen?
Ich schaue mir hauptsächlich Charts und Statistiken an. Finanzmedien sind Unterhaltung, nicht wirklich Information.
3. Wann haben Sie Ihre erste Kryptowährung gekauft und welche Art von Token war es?
Ein kleines bisschen BTC, wahrscheinlich 2015

Viele tolle Leute auf Leofinance, die mich inspirieren. Wenn ich einen auswählen müsste, wäre es wahrscheinlich @rollandthomas

c. Krypto ist ein unreifer Markt. Wenn Märkte reifen, bilden sich normalerweise zwei Marktführer heraus. Es müssen nicht unbedingt die ersten sein.
Mit seiner Beteiligung an Defi ist es kein Wunder, dass Curve unter Neals Top-3-Picks ist und (neben LEO, was eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein dürfte) ist er auch ein RUNE-Fan. Mit dem Einstieg in Kryto im Jahr 2015 ist er einer der frühen Early-Adopter und mit einer schlechten Erfahrung mit STEEM auch in guter Gesellschaft auf dieser Plattform. Seine Antwort auf die letzte Frage ist ebenfalls sehr interessant. Es sieht so aus, als würde er eine Verschiebung der Krypto-Marktführer weg von BTC oder ETH (oder beides?) im Laufe der Reifung von Krypto erwarten. Wir sind also vielleicht noch früh im Spiel und es besteht immer noch die Möglichkeit, einen weiteren Marktführer zu wählen und sich von den Gewinnen zurückzuziehen. Wir danken Neal für die Zeit und wünschen ihm viel Erfolg bei seinen Projekten und Tradings.
