The second Token Battle on TRAVALA has been finished and the winner is SHIB. If you haven't heard about TRAVALA yet, you can read here, here, and here or vist the website or even use this referal link to sign on.

TOKEN Battles on TRAVALA

Recently the newly introduced voting system was used for a really cool feature. The community was asked to vote for the next Coin that is accepted as a payment on the website. The procedure is done via a TOKEN battle where 2 Tokens compete against each other for the votes of the SMART-members. Interestingly, the voters are paied for their effort to cast their vote during a 72h timeframe. If 4,000,000 votes are collected, the voting is valid, the new token is lised and the voters are getting their share of the rewards. As you see from the screenshot, SHIB made it against FLOKI in the last round. 15,000 AVA will be distributed between the voters.

In the first battle CAKE won against FLOKI and 30,000 Travelcredits have been distrinuted. For a SMART5 member (2500 AVA staked) this summed up to 21,59 Travel credits for a click on a voting button. These Travelcredits are worth 1$ each and can be spend for flights, hotels or anything that is available on TRAVALA. No bad and a really a nice way to engage with the community and to distribute (part) of the marketing budget to get a token listed to the SMART members.

WHEN is HIVE getting listed for the TOKEN battle?

And this brings us to the main reason of this post. Any Coin can apply to get listed on TRAVALA by simply apply as well as "providing a marketing budget paid to travala.com". This looks like an ideal project for the DAO or for one of our whales. I am tagging @trumpman, @empoderat as I know they care for AVA and HIVE. Furthermore I would like ask you guys to forward this to anybody who might be be interested in this idea and could help. Of course the applicant may have a hard time to provide the name of the company for HIVE as well as the names of the CEO, Founder or members of the Leadership team - but people need to get used to web3.0 sooner or later ;-)

During my research I found this article by @lordbutterfly, who might already be in contact. Would be nice to know the status of his endavours.
