Hello everyone, it's been a while since I fired out an SPI updates post so let's do that today and fill everyone in with what's been happening.

Most will be aware but for those that are not, SPinvest holds funds and earns incomes from 3 different HIVE accounts. The main account is @spinvest, our LEO tribe account is @spinvest-leo and our gaming account is @spi-steemcity. Let's start out with the 2 smaller accounts first and then we'll leave the main account till last as that's where most of the action happens.

@SPI-STEEMCITY

Ok, im going to be honest and say it's been hard keeping with up @shitsignals who runs this account for the past 2-3 months. He's been a busy man and getting us into alot of new stuff. I'll be pushing him for weekly updates soon because this account has been grown alot over the past 4-6 months and i wonna see what's happening on the weekly basis. We have been invested into 2 games for the past 2 years so it has been easy for me to track that on HE but 4-5 games and some non HIVE game's not so easy. Anyways, that'll be between me and shitsignals.

As it stands now, Hash Kings is making alot of HIVE. I think we spent 1200 HIVE on this game pre-launch and then shitsignals compounded down hard in the beginning, to grow it to around 8000 HIVE in value today and more recently he has been pulling funds out and getting us into different games.

Over the past 3-4 weeks, he has got us into EHON for around $800 and a non HIVE game called ChiFiBots on the Aspire (ASP) blockchain for $1000. Never heard of it but the gaming account has paid all its seed money back to spinvest so I'll trust shitsignals knows what's he's doing. It's the just accounting part that is hard because I can't see it if it's not on HIVE. Anyways, the gaming account is doing very good and growing hugely.

@SPINVEST-LEO

It's easier to keep up with this account because it's not as busy and @jk6276 has been posting weekly updates and balance snapshots for donkeys ages on discord and more recently he's been uploading them to LeoFinanace. He was pretty much writing a post in discord so may as well upload it to the chain for more exposure (and money).

A few months back, JK decided to reallocate our LEO holdings from LeoFinance to CubFinance to earn a better APY. SPI provided the BNB so we never sold out half our LEO. 50% of the CUB's harvested or converted to LEO and sent to SPinvest to add to the dividend pool. The other 50% is being reinvested back into farms. He has also built up a stack of around 1700 SPS tokens. JK has his system in place and he sticks to his plan so it's very easy to track this account as little changes. I like :)

@SPINVEST

Things have been rolling along. Over the past few months, i have sold off most of our BRO tokens, really hard to sell, took 6-8 weeks to sell off 2100 of them. We still hold 1500 for HODLing. I feel it's mostly built on paper profits and we've been on a 12+ month bull run so far plus there's no liquidy. Not a BRO problem, an HE problem. SPI would create an SPI/HIVE pool if the cost was not $1000+ plus the cost of whatever incentive we need to provide to people to provide liquidity. Also been selling off UTOPIS, been trying anyways for the past 2 months but the price keeps dropping and there's no demand for it. We started with 4000, I'd like to sell down to 1000 but we only managed to sell 300 in 2 months so it might take a while. Lastly, I sold off a few Splinterlands Alpha and Beta pack tokens. All the HIVE collected was sent over to Binance and will sit there until HIVE moons again. Really lastly, I invested 1000 HIVE yesterday into the DEFI token. It'll earn us an increasing daily HIVE income and then buy back to tokens in 40 weeks for 140% of the issue price of 0.1 HIVE. I think that's recent hive-engine stuff.

Not been doing everything with our PUNKs. I guess wait for a use case and then that'll be when we cash some out. We made out investment and took the risk, now we play the waiting game, if it's done nothing in 6 months, it's dead.

Off-chain, not much change. Our BTC is still sitting on Celsius earning 6%, our defi LP's and ETH are still staked on Cubfinance and im still converting harvested CUB into BTC/BNB. Still have not found a use case for RUNE, not really looked that hard, to be honest.

I heard about some airdrop happening, for a game called Ragnarok so I transferred 19,700 back to our HIVE wallet from Binance to max that out. Dont forget that Eddie-Earners holds around 42,000 HP as well so that's, 75k HP and 20,000 liquid on SPI and 42,000 HP on Eddie-earner for a total of 137,000. We should get something nice and then there's another drop for 3speak as well.

Last week, I lost access to my HDD and lost alot of files. I played with it, could not gain access and bought another one from amazon so now im rebuilding whatever spreadsheets I've lost. If you seen this weeks report, you'll have noticed it's not the same as i had to do a new one. My current storage set is my OS and programs/apps on stored on my SSD, all my files are stored on the HDD and all passwords and stuff are saved to a thumb drive. My PC still works great, still have all my programs and access to everything but no files in folders, lol.

To cut a long story short, I have had tons of thumb drives quit on me over the years but never a HDD. I've been thinking could be a good idea to buy 2 small external SSD drives to store and update all our records and passwords. First off, storing all our access keys on an SSD would be way better than a thumb drive. It's backed up but again on another thumb drive. Secondly, If SPinvest were to ever be worth $5-10 million and we decide to go proper legit, we'll have all our reports, Binance, Celsius, Nexo, etc CSV files. Better prepared well in advance. So yesterday I bought 2 SSD's costing ยฃ165. I'll transfer himself the amount in HIVE to square up the funds. 1 is for me and the other is a backup that is a backup but can also be shipped to someone should something happen to me to give them access to either liquidate or continue on the fund. The reason I got 2 is because I cant give access to my Binance account as an example. We/SPI have crypto on Binance so getting that will require getting my wife/son to transfer over the funds to the SPI beneficiary. As a proper fund, we'd have our own account but until then this is the best we can do. They will arrive in 2-3 days, then I'll get them all sorted and neatly organized with instructions if required.

Things in the works

In other news, I've been talking to the SPI team and gathering feedback about making some changes to SPI's setup. Not looking to launch a new project are anything, wanna rebuild our foundations. This will be to introduce payments to people that help SPI grow its exposure or funds. This will be posting content, providing stats, running projects under SPI or running an account/wallet. I think it would be a good idea to expand the team and the best way to get people on board to offer a good incentive whether that's a set payment or profit share.

We'll be looking at changing the weekly dividends from SPI tokens back to HIVE and possibly doing an SPI token split.

The split would be splitting SPI's assets and SPI's weekly dividend earnings into 2 tokens. Would be an instant 15-20% boost to your overall SPI holdings. If you hold $1000 of SPI's, you'd still hold $1000 of SPI's but you'd also have a new token that would be worth $150-200. Anyways, the idea has been sitting in the back of my mind for the past 4-5 months and the more time goes by the more I think, we dont need to. I did get some feedback and it was positive but im going off it a little. Would be an easy money grab and I know BRO will copy cause Ray already asked ๐Ÿ˜€. I told him for sure cause it'll pump SPI's BRO holdings but he'd need to build some dividends first ๐Ÿคฃ. Ray can take jokes.

As for a possible split, the only thing that's appealing is being able to revalue the SPI token and go for an ICO part 2 and really go to town on pushing as many as we can for a limited time of at least 1 month. This would give everyone a chance to "get back in at 1 HIVE" if that makes sense. Same rules as last time, all HIVE collected from issuing new tokens would be powered up and of course, nobody would be diluted. Im the biggest holder of SPI, im not into cutting my returns, the fruits of mine and our hard labour are others that invested into SPI within the first 6 months in exchange for new investors that are likely to be passive investors. In fact, new investors should pay a premium based on our past performance ๐Ÿ˜. Anyways, just another idea I was thinking about. I'd still like to have 1 million tokens issued.

I have a post I've been adding to in drafts, it's sitting on about 2000 words but im guessing it'll finish at 4000-5000 words by the time it's released. There's no rush as we plan around whatever the markets are doing and we need to confirm we're either still bull or bear before we can plan forward. If I had to put a time, im aiming to have everything sorted by the end of Feb to start in March but we'll see if things happen sooner are later.

Im, sure there are more updates I could give you but I can't think of any off the top anymore. I have a feeling it's going to be a strange year for us but I dont know if that's good are bad. Things over the past 6 months have been sliding off a little with SPI, the content being produced has dropped to zero. In fact, I changed all of @spinvest's keys last week and I only had 1 person to update the posting keys with. @shitsignals and @jk6276 have been killing it with gaming and CUB finance but that's not really seen as it's happening mostly in the background.

Oh lastly, I just remembered our investments into M4L and the other tribe we invested into, both gone to the dogs!! Im not even gonna name the other one and give them exposure (time wasters).๐Ÿ˜ก

Hope you enjoyed the updates, while all part from the last one. Have a great great day and drop a comment or question below :)
