A close up on the 1 oz gold Canadian Maple Leaf security feature

One thing about buying precious metals, you need to look out for fakes. Luckily the Canadian maple leaf 1 oz coins have various security measures.

One of those security features is having the year of the coin inside the little maple leaf on the tail side of the coin.

About I show you the little 21 inside the maple leaf to show that this is a 2021 maple leaf coin. This is a 30x zoom. I notice now that the capsule is not in mint condition :( lol

Now this picture was harder to take…

This is the 60x zoom. You can get REAL close and see all the fine details of the coin. Now that I think of it, I might do another zoomed in picture but of my new Klondike coin. The level of detail that went into that coin is mind boggling. I have already checked it out with my lens and I must say it is very impressive. Tomorrow I will show off the zoomed in silver coin and most likely will then show off some fine details of other metals while I wait for my recent order to arrive. :)
