HivePUD March 2021

I know February is a short month, but the year seems to be racing by. I have done another big(ish) power up as part of HivePUD. I do not qualify for the prizes due to my stake and reputation, but I like to participate anyway.

I have been buying $Hive from a friend who wants to offload some, but I cannot justify huge purchases right now. I actually bought it a week ago when it looked like the price was really taking off. I then got to see it drop a lot, but it has since recovered. So my purchase would have cost about the same now. I just missed 'the dip'.

I would like to get to 70k HP this year, but we will see how it goes. I will not be able to buy as much if the price keeps going up, but I would benefit in the long term anyway.

$Hive has seen a good improvement over the last month. It actually got back into the top 200 for a while yesterday. It will be a year old in a few weeks and it would be great to see it surpass 'The Other Coin' by then. I think we have a lot more going on with a small, but engaged community.

We can keep hoping for something to take Hive viral (like Elon Musk tweeting about it), but meanwhile we should try to make more people aware of it ourselves. Word of mouth can count for a lot.

I will keep an eye on @stateofthedapps (rankings), @dappradar (rankings) and Hypestat for positive signs of activity. We need projects like those to be active here.
