It's a shame that the badge system was not working for everyone, but the VR world was a new experience for many of us and the platform had some issues. I never managed to access the terminals, but still had a good time talking to people and listening to the presentations. Sorry I couldn't join in the tipping and other features. I could not see the presentation slides in there, but could see them on the stream.

BTW I got AltspaceVR working in Linux on Steam using Proton in the end. The glitches were the same that I experienced running it on Windows 10, both in 2D mode, but then I guess it was probably the same version. I heard others ran it like this and could get a badge, so maybe the PC hardware makes a difference. I'm using an old PC with AMD A8 CPU/GPU. I don't play games generally.
