ENGLISH Considerations chart 01 Bitcoin's dominance has declined compared to several months ago. BITCOIN's dominance today is at 44.8% (on 26 March 2021 it was at 59.5%), while Ethereum's dominance is at 17.6% (on 26 March 2021 it was at 11.3%). Looking at the graph of BITCOIN's dominance we see that it has tended to decline since 2013. We notice that the prediction made months ago is increasingly becoming reality. Bitcoin has lost dominance and Ethereum is gaining it. Ethereum is approaching the 20% threshold after passing the 10% mark. In the past Ethereum reached a peak dominance of 37% (July 2017), but it was a sporadic event. chart 02 We have seen how Bitcoin's dominance has been declining since 2013 and we relate it to BNB. I have set up the chart with the dominance of BTC and BNB at one year. From this chart we see that the market setting is the same as between BTC and ETH, i.e. BTC is losing dominance to BNB as well. Binance Coin today has a dominance of 3.5%, while in March 2021 it was at 2.26%. So we see that BNB's dominance has also grown, and it has grown by just over 1%.
*Conclusions chart 01 In my opinion Bitcoin's loss of dominance will continue, while regarding Ethereum's gain of dominance I have my doubts. Currently it seems from the chart that Ethereum is set to gain dominance over Bitcoin, but the mutation to ETH 2.0 will be crucial, if it doesn't happen or if it happens too late, Ethereum will lose portions of the market. chart 02 This chart shows a steady growth in BNB's dominance over the past year. BNB is already a blockchain Proof of Stake and this makes me think that it will most likely still gain dominance over Bitcoin which is a proof of work, less evolved blockchain technology.

*ITALIAN Considerazioni chart 01 La dominanza di Bitcoin è calata rispetto a diversi mesi fa. La dominanza di BITCOIN oggi è al 44.8% (il 26 marzo 2021 era al 59,5%), mentre la dominanza di Ethereum è a 17.6% (il 26 marzo del 2021 era al 11.3%). Andando ad analizzare il grafico della dominanza di BITCOIN vediamo che tendenzialmente è in calo dal 2013. Notiamo che la previsione fatta mesi sta diventando sempre più realtà. Bitcoin ha perso dominanza ed Ethereum la sta guadagnando. Ethereum dopo aver superato la soglia del 10% si avvicina a quella del 20%. In passato Ethereum ha raggiunto un picco di dominanza del 37% (luglio 2017), ma è stato un evento sporadico. chart 02 Abbiamo visto come la dominanza di Bitcoin sia in calo dal 2013 e la mettiamo in relazione a BNB. Ho impostato il grafico con la dominanza di BTC e di BNB ad un anno. Da questo grafico vediamo che l’impostazione di mercato è la stessa che c’è tra BTC e ETH, cioè BTC perde dominanza nei confronti anche di BNB. Binance Coin oggi ha una dominanza del 3,5%, mentre a marzo 2021 era al 2,26%. Quindi vediamo che anche la dominanza di BNB è cresciuta, ed è cresciuta di poco più dell’1%.
*Conclusioni chart 01 A mio avviso la perdita di dominanza di Bitcoin continuerà, mentre per quanto riguarda il guadagno di dominanza da parte di Ethereum ho i miei dubbi. Attualmente sembra dal grafico che Ethereum sia destinato a guadagnare dominanza rispetto a Bitcoin, ma la mutazione ad ETH 2.0 sarà fondamentale, se non avverrà oppure se avverrà troppo tardi, Ethereum perderà porzioni di mercato. chart 02 Questo grafico mostra una costante crescita della dominanza di BNB nell’ultimo anno. BNB è già un blockchain Proof of Stake e questo mi fa pensare che, con buone probabilità, guadagnerà ancora dominanza nei confronti di Bitcoin che è una proof of work, una tecnologia blockchain meno evoluta.
