It has being long time coming this post. I started my crypto journey officially. That doesn't mean I haven't being involved though, I have, I just haven't being active enough to particularly know anything. So you can say I am a noob. Thanks to hive I realize there are numerous opportunities to learn and earn while you're at it.

I knew I had to get started on Leo finance sooner rather than later. It all seemed overwhelming at first. During this time was when $CUB was airdropped and the defi and the whole farming thing which I am yet to fully grasp. I knew the most important skill I must have at this time is the ability to Do My Own Research. I started sourcing for information on the leofinance main account and I did find some well explained procedures, I just was probably too lazy to go through the avalanche of information therein. I drifted off and finally realized I couldn't stay away any longer. I started answering questions and I got answers which I am grateful for. I don't fancy spamming folks with "mentions", but I'd like to mention @finguru for his help. I have found the perfect place to get started, LeoMarketTalk and I'm delighted.

A couple of days ago a friend of mine wanted to buy doge. He was probably experiencing FOMO but I did explain to him anyways, but still he wanted at least ten dollars worth of Doge. Prior to that moment I never traded or purchased any coin except for hive which a friend sent to my wallet for me from hive engine. When he gave me this task I also wanted to really know how to trade and buy this tokens whenever I wanted to. Quick question, when I buy hive on Binance how do I send it to my original hive account?. Now back to my story, and oh yeah this whole transaction was on Binance. I had various options to buy but I tried the debit card/credit card option but it got declined multiple times Frustrated, I didn't know what to do. Then I saw P2P.

I eventually learned from some tutorial video that P2P trading was a form of trading where Binance served as an escrow between two parties. The buyer (me) sends fiat to the sellers local bank account and in return he/she releases the token I paid for. It sounded tricky at first but it all seemed very safe. Being a noob I didn't look at the different dollar prices they were offering so I went through different ads until I saw one that was willing to sell for my little amount of five thousand naira equivalent of ten dollar of USDT. He was trading at 504 or thereabout and there were better deals. I learned my lesson.

I got my token, moved it from my P2P wallet to my spot wallet. Even then I still couldn't buy Doge I had 9.9 USDT as was sent. Long story short,I bought and got the Doge coins in my wallet.

I must have really bored you with my dumb story. I apologize about my rambling, it just feels good to have done it. At this point I will appreciate any resources, article, link or whatever advice it is that would help me learn more about this space and crypto in general. Till next time. Thank you.
