Run -Gambling on Success : Update #1
Hello all,
Well, 11 more games have passed since my initial betting strategy post centered around my favourite baseball team - San Francisco Giants. View it here. To recap - I am intending to place (mostly) run line bets on the Giants @ -1.5.
The first 11 games yielded a slight loss of £0.43p, despite the Giants posting a 7-4 win record. The wins however were usually within 1 run, so the actual bets lost, as at -1.5 I needed the Giants to win by 2 or more runs, but c'est la vie.
Onwards and Upwards (hopefully)!

So a good effort from the Giants posting a 7-4 record, taking them to 14-8 after 22 games, scoring heavily in several games. The Nationals did hit back for some revenge though, reversing a 12-3 drubbing into a 14-4 and 11-5 drubbings of their own - ouch, that hurts as a Giants fan. This meant I recovered some losses to be down just £0.02p profit/loss.
I even got lucky in the second Mets game clicking the wrong button to get the Mets @-1.5 instead of the Giants, and with the Mets coming out on top, I won the bet...phew!!!
A couple of days off now for the Giants, before a tough 2 game home stand against the division topping Dodgers, followed by a 4 game road trip to the Cardinals (currently running in 2nd in their division).
