Introduction

I recently discovered the @wearealive tribe on Hive and was reading their posts and what to blog about. I think this is now my 4th week of doing this. Some of you know us on here as we tend to get about and we are music writers and producers. We tend to invest, if you call it that creatively and randomly...going with the feeling rather than what makes any financial sense! I think this attitude is now changing.

The wallet

What can be seen quite clearly by looking in our wallet is the randomness of our investments although now with analysis this is becoming more focused. We are starting to carefully analyse what we are doing and earning. Having this weekly focus of posting about it is definitely helping.

The plan

We never had a financial plan before so this is quite new for us, we have a business plan and marketing plan but not a Hive plan. Between talking to @raymondspeaks at @brofi and thinking about it because of the I am Alive challenge we started getting one together. One of the new things we discussed this week is having a longer term goal...not just week by week but for 1 year or 5 years. This has been something we are considering.

So lets look at some of the tokens we are focusing on. We have upped the game this week by putting it all in a spreadsheet!

It is nice to see lots of progress this week and bit by bit we are growing! we are also very excited about the @hivelist store that is just starting and this could be a great opportunity for us. We have just started our store and are working it out! Conclusion

I think we are getting somewhere! Bit by bit we are starting to understand how to "compound" and grow our Hive account and somewhere along the line it starts to click. I do not think we know exactly what is going on but every week we are learning. Keeping this open mind and having a willingness to change and adapt are definitely starting to pay dividends.
