It feels like just yesterday I was wishing you all a Happy New Year, but just like that January is behind us and we are into the second month of 2022! Welcome February, hopefully you have a lot of exciting stuff lined up for us. February is one of the hottest months in Queensland, so I know I can expect some sweltering hot, humid days, but that also means more time at the beach which is very exciting.

I could spend hours talking about beaches and hot weather, but we are all here to talk about silver and gold coins. This 'Sneak Peek' post, gives you with a glimpse of the coins and bars that I'll be featuring in upcoming posts through out February 2022.

As always I have already taken all the photos of the coins and bars featured in this Sneak Peek post. There are some really cool individual coins and collections of coins that I will be writing about in February, so have a scroll through this post, enjoy the Sneak Peek and then stay tuned for the upcoming posts in the days and weeks ahead.

Coin 1 - 1oz .999 Silver 2016 Chinese Silver Panda Coin

  • The 2016 Chinese Silver Panda coin was the first version of the Silver Panda to move away from being a 1 troy ounce coin to a 30g coin using the metric system for weight measurement.

Coin 2 - 1/10oz .999 Gold 2012 Wheat Sheaf Dollar Coin

  • The three wheat stalks on this coin reflects the establishment of a booming agricultural industry in Australia.

Coin 3 - 1/10oz .999 Gold 2011 Ram's Head Dollar Coin

  • The coin features the Merino ram's head that graced the Australian Shilling from 1938 to 1963.

Coin 4 - 1oz .999 Silver 2008 Australian Artist Series - Reg Mombassa Coin

  • Reg Mombassa is a true international artist in fine art and design. He is freelance designer commissioned to produce a number of installations, album covers, T-shirts and posters.

Coin 5 - 23.3g .500 Silver 1981 Canada Dollar Coin

  • The silver purity of the 1981 Canada Dollar Coin is .500 or 50% silver. The other metal that makes up the other 50% of the alloy is copper.

Coin 6 - 1oz .999 Silver 2015 Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle Coin

  • The reverse design of the 2015 Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle depicts an eagle flying in to land on a tree branch.

Coin 7 - 1oz .999 Silver 2020 Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle Coin

  • The reverse design of the 2020 Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle depicts a close-up of an eagle in flight.

Coin 8 - 1oz .999 Silver Kangaroo in Outback with F15 Privy Mark Coins

  • The Kangaroo in Outback Coin Series by the Royal Australian Mint featured kangaroos bounding from left to right with an outback scene in the background. Two of the coins from this series will be discussed in this post.

Coin 9 - 5oz .999 Silver First Majestic Silver Coins

  • First Majestic Silver Corporation owns and operates silver mines mostly located in Mexico. This post will discuss some of the coins that get issued by First Majestic Corporation, plus is will discuss First Majestic's recent performance on the US Stock Exchange.

Coin 10 - 1oz .999 Silver 2001 Australia's 21st Century Four Coin Set

  • Australia's 21st Century Silver Coin Set comprises of four coins dated 2001. Three of the coins were struck by the Perth Mint and the fourth coin was struck by the Royal Australian Mint. Each of the coins are 1oz .999 fine silver.
