Last year when I set out to save I wasn't sure how it would work out, as I had very little to save. So what this did for me was to help me build a concentration for some of the tokens that differed from my Hive Goals. This year, it's going to be a little different for me. I still don't have much to save but there is still some concentration.

My 2023 Saturday Savers Club Plan With @sally-saver

This year I will concentrate on a few tokens and purchase according to the 365 plan, (CTPSB, INDEX, LBI, WORKERBEE & DHEDGE). These tokens will sure be sitting pretty by the end of the year if I succeed at my plan. My main Primary & Secondary focus will be on building my SPI & BXT. In addition to saving on Hive, I am also saving offline in my native currency (USD), also following the 365 daily compound plan.

Main Focus SPI & BXT

SPI - Primary

I was into the SPI token way back when, when I first started on Steem but when I moved over to Hive SPI was one of the tokens that I lost sight of in the shuffle. Over the last few months, I noticed that I was getting Hive from just holding SPI. I decided that I wanted to build up my SPI holdings to increase my returns. So as a result, I am making SPI a part of my savings for this year. At about 4 hive in HE, I'm thinking I could get 1 every week to start.

BXT - Secondary

I became interested in BXT last year as I noticed it on my list in PeakD. It's not listed as BXT, it kinda looks like this;

When I saw that it paid me in Hive, I thought, 'Gee, I gotta get my hands on more of this. So, when I started with the savings club, I figured this was my chance to get more. Last year I just bought 1 hive worth of BXT, but this year I plan to add 1 BXT @ minimum this year. At around 3 Hive each in HE this could easily get expensive, so taking into consideration the growth possibilities of the token itself, I rather play it safe and keep it to 1 per week as a commitment.

Let's see where I stand to start;

My 365 Plan

This is where I attempt a bit much but, I need to hold more of these tokens & it's not going to happen by me just saying it. Some of these tokens are a bit on the pricey side for me but right now I see them as fair game while the prices are down a little. Although this is a day-by-day plan, there may be times when I have a little extra to spend and what better way to spend it then for my savings goals.

This is where I stand right now;

This chart shows you what I held at the beginning of the year, what I added since then or what I needed to add to catch the balance up to todays correct totals. I had added some to most of the prior to today, but still needed to add more to bring it current. From here on I will be adding just what I need each week, so the totals here are to reflect my savings not anything else. Some of the totals here may vary to what I actually own as some of these tokens are rewarded to me for various reasons.

Offline Savings

I am also saving offline on the 365 Plan, I sure can use $667.95 at the end of the year, how about you.

For this task I had to make my own chart to follow as while the one they used in the Saturday Savers Club was definitely okay, I find that it gets a little confusing further down in the chart. If you find that's the case for you & you like my chart, feel free to make use of it. It's an MS Excel file which will copy & paste easily to almost any software. I only put out 1 quarter at a time.

Saving For A Unicorn

My Empty Bank

I've had this bank for a while now & before I decided to use it for my savings it was nearly full & held nearly $20. I like Unicorns and that's what made me buy this bank. 'Saving for a Unicorn' as if that's possible, Unicorns are mythical creatures but somehow they have been used as a symbol of many things. It's also a symbol for the group that bought me to hive, #ctp (https://ctptalk.com), we believe that every cent made is another cent toward saving a Unicorn.

My First Three Weeks!

This is my savings for my Unicorn after three weeks of following the 365 Plan. This picture depicts my savings as of Jan21,2023 ($2.31) Each week I will take a pic of my bank to show the growth.

Where does my savings come from?

My savings come from all the change I find in the bottom of my purse mostly. When I go to the stores & I use cash I usually just drops the change in my purse and after a couple of days I get all the change out & put it somewhere. It ususally would be my bank, but now I have a change cup. I will only put the designated amount in the bank that I need to. All other change will go into my change cup to help with the times when the daily amount exceeds what I have. As we get later in the year the amounts become a little on the higher side and I know I won't have $2 or $3 a day to put in the bank, So Here's my 'Change Cup' now;

At times I will also just get some rolls of coins just to add to the change cup. Usually, I don't save many quarters since I use them for doin laundry, but even every now & then I put a few in the bank.

Well this about covers my saving plan for the year with @sally-saver & her Saturday Savers Club. If you car to join or would like to know more about the club, just click on the bright yellow banner below.
