Like @bearmol, I also wanted to reach reputation 65, but didn't really have a timeline set for it. And yes, defining your goals S.M.A.R.T. will help one visualize, think out, communicate and achieve the goals. Due to the lengthy time it takes to level up in reputation - especially the higher one gets - and because I didn't want to get disappointed if I didn't reach that number by the specified timeline, I left that part out.

I only knew that I was close to reaching it and that was enough for me. And then after the HiveStats webtool - where I check my status and voting power - had gotten updated earlier this week, I was in for a welcoming surprise and that was that I've finally reached my set reputation number. Hooray! 🍻

Now that I've finally reached this specified number - which took the impatient part of me way too long 😅 - I'm wondering "what's next?" Because I like working with rounded up numbers of fives and tens, I'm contemplating setting my next goal to reaching the number 70 in reputation at the end of 2022.

Is this number by that time too ambitious? A part of me says "yes", while my stay-positive-attitude is saying "go for it!" Ultimately, one never knows. Yes, with statistics one can make calculated predictions, but where's the fun in that? I like (these kind of) surprises 😅. How about you? Would you rather know or also like to be surprised? 😃Thank you. Yes we have to be grateful for every step. You know when we click on our profile, it sometimes shows a quick “25” before it shows our actual reputation. It’s a good reminder of how far we’ve come. I feel relieved when it moves from 25. Lol!! Cheers to keep going up. 🥂😃🎉

I would still set the goal at 70, even if not realistic. Shoot for the moon, reach the stars, whatever the saying is.
