Decentralize Ur Life Community Now On Hive
We discuss the benefits of decentralization a great deal on here. Over the last few years, there were many posts about projects that could help people break away from some of the power structures that are presently in place.
Lately, it seems like the centralized entities are getting stronger. Between mega corporations and governments, the power grab over our lives is only increasing. No matter where we turn, someone is listening in or telling us exactly what we need to do.
Decentralize Ur Life is a community that seeks to change that for people.
To start. the aim is to have a repository where people can post different projects they come across. These are to be either open source or decentralized since this is humanity's way of combating the forces that are weighing it down.
At the same time, this community can be a practical guide for people. The goal here is to offer people alternatives that they can implement in their lives. Often, these newer solutions are a bit difficult for the average person to implement. Thus, hopefully some of the more technical people can provide step-by-step details of how to do it.
Another factor is awareness. There are a lot of projects that are arising which few know about. Like anything new, they could use support. This community could help to alert people of what is going on and provide an outlet to get involved.
This idea is spreading far beyond the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency. The race for more power is being noticed by many throughout different sectors. Collectively, we can start to change that.
Decentralization is a process. It is not something that happens overnight. Each of us has a hand in changing what is taking place.
"Draining the swamp" is a phrase that got a lot of publicity of late due to political reasons. That aside, the idea does hold merit. It is up to us to basically "drop out" of the centralized realm as much as we can. Again, it is a process that starts with the mindset of looking for ways to move ourselves in that direction.
Obviously, being involved in cryptocurrency and blockchain shows how these tenets hold true for us. Now, it is time to expand upon this by offering practical solutions that people can start to integrate into their lives.
It is easy for us to get bogged down with the idea of how enormous the existing power structure is. While that is the case, it is enhanced by the fact that is what we mostly see. This community seeks to offset this a bit by showing what is taking place in the decentralized world.
All are welcome to join the community and post their findings. As stated, there are a ton of projects out there that hold the values expressed here. Shedding light on them while helping people to move the decentralized ball a bit further in their lives is the main goal.
