New Addition To The Leomarkettalk pHBD-USDC Liquidity Pool (7/3/22)

@leomarkettalk is committed to supporting Leofinance in all ways possible. One of the initiatives undertaken is having all the HIVE and HBD earned by this account added to the pHBD-USDC liquidity pool.

We realize how important this is to both Hive and Polycub. For that reason, all funds brought in will go into the liquidity pool and never be drawn out. In other words, this is going to be permanent liquidity.

Here is what we wrote in the original post outlining the plan with this:

The main idea is for @leomarkettalk to be a permanent provider to the pHBD liquidity pool. What goes in does not come out. It is liquidity that will keep growing as payouts come.

Hive Swap And pHBD

We are presently powering down our Hive Power. There is more going in so we might reinitiate another power down after the next payout. For now, this is what we traded on the Internal Exchange.

We converted 548 HIVE and received 241 HBD.

Once we had this, we move all the HBD over to pHBD.

We are playing with 412 HBD.

Leomarkettalk pHBD-USDC Liquidity Pool Holding

Before the addition, this is what the holdings for Leomarkettalk in the LP were:

Here is what the additional transaction looked like:

Once that was added to the pool, our holdings now look like this:

We are steadily growing.

POLYCUB Rewards

Of course, our existing holdings in the liquidity pool did net us some POLYCUB.

Nevertheless, here is where we stand:

polycub.png

As we can see, there is 399 POLYCUB ready to be claimed. This is worth $56 at the present pricing. The challenge is that the price of POLYCUB is down now.

According to the AMA from a few weeks ago, the Treasury making purchases is not likely to happen under after the next halving in August. This should have an impact upon the price of POLYCUB as the distribution will drop again (.125 per block) coupled with buying pressure from the Treasury.

For now, there is no buy demand from DeFi 2.0.

As a parking spot, until the price recovers, we put the POLYCUB into xPOLYCUB to gain there. It is likely that between the increasing ratio and the increase in price will more than offset the present 18% the liquidity pool pays.

When the price moves up, we will move out of the xPOLYCUB and swap that into pHBD and USDC. This will be added to the LP.

Here is the present holding of xPOLYCUB:

What You Can Do To Help

This is something many are waiting for. Because of this, instead of "selling" POLYCUB at reduced prices, it is best to take advantage of the anticipated price appreciation to get more into the Liquidity Pool down the road.

All of the HBD and HP rewards from Leomarkettalk posts are all being fed into the liquidity pool. Therefore, the community can help by supporting this account.

To start, drop by the post each day and engage. This is a great way to get to know some of the other Lions.

At the same time, give each post an upvote. As stated, this is going into the liquidity pool, a move that can only help Hive in general.

Leofinance is intent on helping to move Hive forward. This is something that @leomarkettalk supports. To achieve this end, we need the support of the community.

Together we can help this along.

Thanks again for organising this initiative with the LMT account's funds :)

It is a community initiative meant to help out the entire ecosystem. We have now built a bit of stake in the LP there. We will just keep it growing over time.

That liquidity is permanently in there. Not a huge amount but a nice run in POLYCUB and we will be able to add some decent amounts.

Every little bit from many people is the way a drop of water wears away the stone.

any idea that helps to improve all the new projects of the #Leofinance community are welcome, we hope that many more #HBD will come to pass them on to pHBD

We are doing our part. Each HBD that is sent over helps.

It is now permanent liquidity.

So there is permanent liquidity in both Polycub Farms and now pHBD Farm. Do you know if the protocol stakes permanenet liquidity?

That's a nice addition to the LP. Kudos to the initiative!

We keep building. Over time, it is getting larger which is permanent now.

It keeps growing as you add into it. Years from now, it will be massive!

Thanks for the hard work but I am not sure if waiting for the price to recover is the best thing to do. I do believe in the project but I think it might do better just compounding it in the pool.

Nothing beats organic growth . The Hive community/platform is more or less our identity and heritage in the cryptosphere . Rather than having the sole aim of just earning on here much attention should be geared towards making the liquidity pool a very deep one .

1

That is the push by @leomarkettalk.

All the $HIVE and HBD ends up in the pool. At some point, the earnings on Polycub will end up in the LP also. We will see a run in the future which will really enhance the holdings in the LP.

This is permanent liquidity since it will not be pulled out.

That's actully some sizable income from there now 400 a week? Are there plans to use these funds for something in the future. I'm going to imagine a few more months of that this accounts going to be pushing some rather sizeable figures.

It isnt a week. The last time I collected was about a month ago. So it is decent but not huge.

The plans are to keep feeding the pHBD-USDC LP. Right now, I felt it best to park the POLYCUB in xPC since the price is so crappy when going to the stablecoins.

My guess is that we see higher numbers when the Treasury starts to buy. At that time, then I will unwind the xPC and put it into the LP.

Sounds good happy to contribute a vote here and there to boost it up :)

Good idea to add permanenet liquidity, it adds to the TVL, it reduces price pressure from sells, and helps promote both Polycub and HBD.
Thank you
