This is one of the reasons why I am so excited about Hive. The ability to keep building and expanding is sensational.

We see a lot of development taking time. This can be frustrating to many of us but it is the nature of the beast in that realm. There simply is no way around it.

At times, however, development can happen rather quickly. We saw an example of that with POSH.

In a little over 24 hours after the subject was broached, POSH ended up on LeoThreads.

Proof Of Sharing

This is a project that was started by @acidyo. The main emphasis is the sharing of Hive based content on Web 2.0 platforms. Most people share links on Twitter and Reddit, earning themselves some POSH tokens.

When this takes place, a couple things happen.

To start, the author gets more recognition as the person who shared the link is getting him or her exposure. Also, the content on Hive itself, and the platforms, are also being seen by the outside world. POSH is an added incentive to perform these tasks.

Now we are seeing POSH on LeoThreads.

At this moment, the likelihood of the posts being seen by outside eyes is not great. However, over time, as the platform hopefully expands, we could see the promotion of not only authors but other applications by using LeoThreads. Even in the early stages it is showing itself to be a great communication tool on Hive.

What is exciting about this is how quickly it all came together. This shows how development teams are always interested in an opportunity to expand their reach and what they are working on. Here we can see how both POSH and LeoThreads is enhanced.

In short, it is a powerful union.

Continuing Evolution

Here we see a thread that mentioned the forthcoming announcement.

Evidently, the idea of adding notification of a post being placed on Threads has triggered other ideas. We can see the POSH project is about to grow a bit more.

Obviously, we will have to await the post about this but there is obviously discussion about another token being tied to the promotion of Hive based articles on LeoThreads (and whatever else they add to this idea).

What we are seeing is a continuing evolution of ways for content creators and consumers to find and share content. When it comes to promotion, we are seeing many applications stepping up. The ability to cross-promote is becoming legitimate on Hive. When one writes an article (or makes a video) there are a number of ways to share it, most of which provide the opportunity at rewards.

POSH is just adding to the list.

It is amazing to think that only 4 days ago, the new UI was just being released. All of this advancement relating to LeoThreads occurred in less than 5 days.

POSH is the latest addition.

Breakthrough

We have spent years looking for the breakthrough application on Hive. Perhaps we are still going to be looking. That said, LeoThreads with the new UI is tossing its hat into the ring.

The speed of the front end is amazing. We are seeing engagement continually rise.

Over the last 24 hours, we were able to see more than 2,750 threads. This was a record since the UI came into being. The exciting thing is we are seeing consistent growth in these numbers.

Perhaps we will see that number top the 3,000 mark next week.

Here is where something like POSH being added to LeoThreads, in whatever form it ultimately becomes, can assist. With people being incentivized to share articles and videos from around Hive, that could only benefit LeoThreads.

It is interesting to see how things are unfolding.
