I have a feeling we are not going to see a reserve currency. Why would we need one in an era where digital wallets will have the capability to instantly convert from one token to another.

We are moving to networked economies which means "when in Rome...". People are going to be interacted in thousands of currencies each year. So the idea that one will stand out is part of the archaic mindset.

In fact, we are going to see the age where everything has the ability to be collateralized. This opens up an entirely new economic model.
