Oh really.

  • unlimited users - nope
  • hence no massive scaling
  • real time rendering - not even close
  • individual sense of presence - the environment is now "smart" nor does it remember.
  • continuity of data - go look at a tree and does the system remember all who were by the tree? Not if it is on the periperhy.

Second Life is nowhere near the Metaverse people are talking about.
