DAOs solve a lot of the greed issue. When dealing with open source software, the ability to tangent to something else is always there. Hence, the ability to dominate and manipulate is lessened.

Plus I believe as more people realize abundance is at hand and the scarcity model is on the way out, the need for greed will diminish. It is only since we are reared with the scarcity mindset that we focus upon there "not being enough".
