I have been saying for years here that I believe some diversification into precious metals may be a good idea.

When you have a core position in gold, the ups and downs in the crypto and traditional stock market are a lot easier to stomach. I see gold as a great way to hold your savings so they can't be stolen or inflated away.

I'm getting close to my goals with precious metals just in time for this price increase in fiat dollars. This has been a blessing and I thank the (not) mainstream news for never quitting, on spreading the word about inflation and precious metals.

I'm looking for other ways to hedge against inflation now that my bags are pretty full, I guess I could sink more into the miners. the thing with the miners or any stock for that matter is you don't hold the keys as you can with crypto. I'm not sure the people holding my stocks can 100 percent guarantee they are mine when SHTF.

What way are you going to protect yourself from runaway inflation?

I don't see how the banks are going to make new loans when the credit markets start to roll over, I think they are starting now. Most people think we are in for a period of deflation but I think the opposite. Any lack of dollar liquidity will be fixed when they all get used to buy tangible items before the dollar is worth a lot less. Let's face it, nobody I know or listen to knows how bad the derivatives are over-leveraged. It hasn't helped that nobody even trusts the government numbers on anything anymore.

This is why I feel we lose the trust and the confidence in the dollar and gold does its job to protect your hard-earned savings from the hidden tax that is inflation.
