Well Hello There Fellow Hivers And Travelers.

Well well well, I discovered some photos of the last walk we took at Dana Bay, No doubt it was also the very last day we spent in Dana Bay and we were set to depart early the next morning.

Have you ever gotten that feeling? That feeling when needing to return home after a insanely fun holiday? Almost like a feeling of despair? Like you're leaving behind everything that you've ever loved? But actually you're not? Is it perhaps the thought of leaving behind all those memories? All those amazing people you met along the way? Well whatever it is I do without a doubt hate that feeling!

Well it was the last day and we didn't plan much because the weather was nice but also not nice for doing a lot of activity's. It was lazy weather and I don't think anyone wanted to do much because of the thought of leaving, as if, if we were going to do something we might be late for the leaving the next day? Or am I perhaps the only one ever feeling like that?

Amazing views in Dana Bay

So this won't be no beach story or exploring caves or going for walks along the seafront. No this is merely just a walk around inside the Dana Bay Nature Conservation Community, basically it's just a protected area. This means that there are houses built within the area but they need to adhere to certain guide lines and all those fancy jibby things. The area also has green zone, which are long stretches of natural bush and plant area where one is not allowed to put up anything of any sorts. This is so that the wildlife also have their own spaces to wander around in.

The best part of this area is that they tend to wander around near the houses and this makes for a super amazing atmosphere. It feels like you are one with nature.

Imagine reading a book on your porch and bam here is a little deer gently eating some grass and behind it is a rabbit jumping around in search of carrots

Gazing at the sun rays.

We started the walk heading up, up and more up to the top of the hill and then created a route that we wanted to follow. As we walked the Betty shared stories of her childhood and how she can remember playing with friends at certain houses and where some people use to live and how it used to look around here before they really started building houses in the area. Basically it was mostly bushed up areas.

Strolling around through the houses

Me and the Betty grabbed a flask poured it full of coffee and went round and about walking through the conservation area. Because I used most of the photos of the animals in a previous post already, for this post I'll be sharing some of the plant life we found in the area. I have to mention that these plants are not natural to the area and most are planted by people and also taken care of by people. But a lot of these cacti have really grown very large.

I find it attractive in a way, cacti that grow large is more than often very old cacti like years and years old. I know some cacti grow faster than other but let's forget about that.

Mr. Snail

I think Mr. Snail is biting at more than he can chew, well I surely hope he can get a bite from the cacti plant. However I think it might be a little too thick for him.

This is somewhat saddening to see, why would someone cut off a tree to plant a smaller plant and that just to get a nice driveway. And to top it off even more they be doing this in a nature conservation area!

The Rabbits Strolling About.

The animals in the area are actually so used to humans that they don't bother them with you even when standing less than a meter away. I was only able to snap a few photos of the two rabbits that came to munch at the lawn on this house. But there are many more running around in the area, I saw a bunch later on that numbered more than 12 bunnies.

Oh how I wish I had some garnish or carrots with me that day, I wonder how close they would have dared come to me.

Let's Route Back To The Cacti.

Now this is probably one of the most beautiful cacti's I've ever seen. It looks satisfying beautiful, nature really is the best artist around.

I wonder how this plant would stretch if it's hanged up and allowed to flourish as intended. It almost looks like an architecture design, the lines almost running parallel to each other.

The Alien Plant

Okay Okay it's not really an alien plant. But it does look like some plant that would appear in one of the Avatar movies.

Beautiful plant ey? The beauties of nature will always leave me gasping in jaw dropping moments and I had a few of these jaw dropping moments on our last day at the seaside. The walking was fun and the weather was perfect for doing just that. What helped in our cause for hunting flower garden was the fact that most of the residents in the area didn't really have a lot of fences in the front of the yards and those that did had low fences. This was intentionally done so that the wildlife in the area could roam around more freely. With that said every now and then you get some rich ass bastard that encloses himself with walls higher than prison gates. Why would you choose to life in a conservation area if you enclose everything around you and barely ever see the sun?

Anyhow, I suppose that ain't none of my business! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend and stay blessed guys and most of all be safe!

To everyone who made it this far into my post Thank you for the read and the support.
