SPLINTERLANDS COMBAT RULESETS

Hello all @Splinterlands player. Today I'm going to list all the combat rules that I have encountered during my first week playing #splinterlands. I tried to search them in the FAQ page, the How to Play section, and the blog, but I couldn't find any updated and complete list out there.

Not saying that mine will be complete, so if you find any missing rulesets, please inform me in the comment section below. I'll edit that in and let this be the updated and completed list for all the players to refer back to.

I'll arrange them alphabetically after the Standard rule, and you can jump to the specific rules by clicking on its name below (thanks for @Kinukinu for helping me with this). Here we go!

DESCRIPTION

STANDARD

|

No modifications to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.

AIM TRUE

|

Melee and Ranged attacks always hit their target.

ARMORED UP

|

All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

BACK TO BASICS

|

Monsters lose all abilities.

| |

|

BROKEN ARROWS

|

Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.

|

CLOSE RANGE

|

Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.

|

EARTHQUAKE

|

Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

|

EQUALIZER

|

The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

|

All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.

|

EVEN STEVENS

|

Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.

|

EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY

|

All Monsters have the Blast ability.

|

FOG OF WAR

|

Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.

|

HEALED OUT

|

All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.

|

HEAVY HITTERS

|

All Monsters have the Knock Out ability.

|

HOLY PROTECTION

|

All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.

|

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

|

Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.

|

LITTLE LEAGUE

|

Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.

|

LOST LEGENDARIES

|

Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles.

|

LOST MAGIC

|

Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.

|

MELEE MAYHEM

|

Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.

|

NOXIOUS FUMES

|

All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.

|

ODD ONES OUT

|

Only Monsters with odd Mana costs may be used in battles.

|

REVERSE SPEED

|

Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

RISE OF THE COMMONS

|

Only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in battles.

|

SILENCED SUMMONERS

|

Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.

|

SPREADING FURY

|

All Monsters have the Enrage ability.

|

STAMPEDE

|

The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

|

SUPER SNEAK

|

All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability.

|

TAKING SIDES

|

Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles.

|

TARGET PRACTICE

|

All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.

|

UNPROTECTED

|

Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs.

|

UP CLOSE & PERSONAL

|

Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.

|

WEAK MAGIC

|

Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.

|
