So apparently, the birds aren't twitting like they used to ever since Elon Musk finally bought Twitter. At first, it all seemed like the usual layoff and revamp when a new person takes over so the environment fits their goals and desires; I still believe this is what Elon Musk is doing, but is he doing too much already?

Firstly it was the Layoff of quite alot of very important staffs at Twitter, then a charge on verification for accounts which has proven very catastrophic as there's now a big problem trying to differentiate tweets from real and fake accounts as well as the fact that anyone can be verified now, even scammers.

Just when it seemed like all the renovation was done, I came on twitter and saw the tag #riptwitter and #twitterisdead trending. Perhaps this meant very little but it's not so hard to see that Twitter is losing quite alot of its key employees. Ovee the week, Elon had sent a message to all employers to either sign up for long and intense hours of work or leave and most people who have been playing key roles in ensuring Twitter was running smoothly all these years made the decision to leave instead.

However, I think as long you're get paid, working longer hours shouldn't be problem, but you don't just like the work environment anymore or the personality of the new boss. Many employees who chose to leave think Elon is running Twitter to the ground and is best they jump off the boat and swim than sink with it (not quite sure it's a good thing to state on your resume that you worked for a company that just crashed to the ground).

All eyes are on Twitter right now. Will it be the new MySpace? How long will Elon be in control?, What effects will his decisions cause? and if Twitter will survive.
