There have been a couple times I wished I could just share my wild thoughts, ideas, or opinions briefly and swiftly with the community without having to write a lengthy post. And like many others who have had this same thought, i just couldn't do it soy blog doesn't appear to be owned by a spammer or abuser. Well, I'm glad Leothread has been created and every once in a while, I can boldly just share those quick and short thoughts and ideas with everyone here instead of going on Twitter to do so.

For those who might be new to the term "Leothread", it is a microblogging feature on the Hive blockchain which was launched by the Leofinance community yesterday and I gotta be honest, I'm loving the threads. Numbers don't lie and that is pretty obvious in the activities and the number of threads since the launch.

You see, many popular Web 2.0 platforms utilize/ allow the short contents and microblogging features because it is a known fact that most people prefer those kinda contents especially since there's quite alot of contents to be assimilated on the these platforms and secondly because short contents bring massive engagements and activities. Incorporating a feature for microblogging on Hive makes it all perfect in my opinion and would definitely be a game changer for the blockchain as a whole.

I tried using the Leothread feature on my mobile yesterday but there were bugs which is quite normal for something new and especially with the load of users testing the features. At the moment, there isn't much feature like re-threading (re-tweeting feature on Twitter) which I believe is in development and would be in existence in the future but one exciting thing is that Leothreads gives the opportunity to monetize your short posts which is so unique and makes it more enticing than if you made those short posts on Twitter. Also, it isn't just for finance and crypto related matters, every topic is allowed.

This is the first of its kind on Web 3.0 and even though its still at its early stage, it has infact starting breaking records and I'm really impressed with its current status. Hopefully it gets massive recognition from within and outside the Hive blockchain in no time.
