The Key To Not Losing Money With Cryptos.
When we hear the word "cryptocurrencies", one of the most common thoughts is "losing money" and it is said that almost every single crypto investor has lost money at some point while investing or finding their ways through cryptos. With the current state of the crypto industry, it may seem like not losing money via cryptos is impossible but crypto like every aspect of finance has to be studied diligently and some important rules are to be followed to avoid loss of money in the space while investing.
Personally, I believe one of the most important way to not lose money while investing in crypto is to learn, research and investigate thoroughly before investing in any project of our choice, before depositing funds or registering your data with any site/ platform. This alone would save us from losing money to hundreds of thousands of crypto currency related projects and platforms out there that are structured to make you lose money.
Secondly, being in full control of your assets has proven countless times to be one of the best ways to not lose your money in the crypto space. If you don't have the keys or instant access to the wallets, then the assets in the wallets aren't yours since you can be locked out of the account or wallet if something wrong happens like in the case of several exchanges we've seen getting exploited or have gone rogue.
However, in times like the bear market, I don't believe a person has lost money when the value of their cryptos has gone down, 1 BTC is still 1 BTC , 1 HIVE is still 1 HIVE. So when the value drops due to market sell pressure, you've not really lost unless you sell for less than you you bought the crypto.
Losses may seem like the most common thing every crypto investor has in common around here and they can happen to both new and experienced investors like in the case massive chaos we've seen lately, but they can reduced drastically and make the whole crypto experience a much more better and profitable one.
