One of the most common problems with the internet in general is outdated information.
Here we are told to goto steem.leo for more info when it should be leo.finance

Over 2 million effective HP! They are a whale π³ that is for sure! But did you see they also delegate HP, yes many many small cubs and newlions get a delegation from @leo.voter πππ
So they have a fair few thousand LP as well.
Is leo.voter curation transparent?
For all us new hivers and new lions, we don't really understand what gets curated and what doesn't.
If you are an OG it does not really matter what you post and that is fair enough, they put up with the sh$t and did the grind for us newcomers. But for us scrap feeders it is good to get a guide on how we possibly could get a big vote.
This is where the LeoVerse and in particular @leogrowth and @anomadsoul have jumped to the rescue. Curation by Leo Finance just got a decentralized flavor is a MUST READ post on how posts are picked up by the Leo Ambassador team of @l337m45732, @whatsup, @niallon11, @bitcoinflood, @idiosyncratic1, @finguru, @uyobong and @anomadsoul to be curated for and voted by @leo.voter.
It is as you would expect, quality baby quality! However, it is a good guide for any post no matter what the community.
So yeah, they are transparent now!
Is Leo.voter beneficial to LEO ecosystem?
And here we have a no-brainer.
- I already mentioned that leo.voter delegates some HP to newlions so they can post.
- leo.voter votes (the clue is in the name, funny that eh!)
- and voting keeps the LeoVerse expanding and growing

How can newlions benefit from it?
You cannot under estimate the feel good feeling that you get from a comment or a vote. That is the incentive to stay somewhere.
By joining in all the #newlion initiatives from @leogrowth the odds are that a newlion will get voted by leo.voter and hence will benefit.
Then the LeoVerse love affair will start and it is a winwin for everyone.
My experience with Leo.Voter
I am still a newlion, and not even a cub yet, however I have been here trying to at least purrr in the LeoVerse and I have participated in each #lpud.
You can see below that I started to delegate 266HP to @leo.voter on June 8th just before the first #lpud on June 15th.

*Those figures look quite enticing, however DYOR! Actually part of your DYOR should be reading that post and then checking out @mistakili @idiosyncratic1 @belemo @readthisplease to get a feel for how they write and what they might curate!

@meowcurator is a curation entity where users can delegate LEO Power and get 90% of the curation rewards daily. It is operated by a trusted handful of curators curating good quality content on LeoFinance each and every day.

But by the looks of it, I would bargain that the leases have been snapped up by @forexbrokr!!

My planned further research will involve a study to test out the various options for HP and LP delegations for passive LEO rewards.
